It's not awful, but not worth full price.
I'll leave it on recommended since I did play through the entire thing & would recommend getting it when its on sale.
It depends on how much you liked Skyrim / fallout 4 how much this is worth for you.
For me, I would say about 30€.

It took me about 80-90hrs to get through the entire game, (main story, all faction/major questlines, all sidequests I found, at a leisurely pace), and another ~5-10hrs to grind the remaining achievements.

It really felt to me like a skyrim/fallout4 in space, with slightly better graphics & gunplay.
Story stuff&style is very similar, though the main story is worse in my opinion, I enjoyed the ship building, some of the follower stuff, and most of the faction questlines.
But also the bugs, lack of polish, and 10+yr old gameplay design from skyrim are here.

For me it was worth playing through it once, but that's about it. If you liked skyrim/fo4 or really like the setting, I think its worth buying, though probably not at a full 70€.

Definitely not worth 30€.
If you liked Starfield the base game then it might be worth 10€ or so.

To me this feels like mostly cut content, with a few added sidequests. The base game was missing the Va'ruun faction questline and this adds it.
Total playtime for me was about 15hrs to complete main story + all achievements, I did all sidequests I found, but may have missed some.

Nothing new in terms of gameplay or really anything else noteworthy. The handcrafted world is better than the generated stuff, but on par with the base game story locations, just a bit more concentrated, everything is within about ~1km, not sure why it is considered a selling point to ignore the 'space' mechanics in a space centered game, but sure.

Main story is a bit bland but otherwise ok, lacking any real choices and too short for the price, about on par with the other faction questlines. Some of the sidequests are very nice in terms of worldbuilding, but there are only a few.

Interaction with Andreja (who was my active follower/wife during my playthrough) is quite limited compared to what I expected, disappointing.

(also I know the RAV-8 is not part of this but it was my first time playing since they added it, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that thing is useless (and also barely fits here). Then again my guess is its just a reskinned skyrim horse with worse controls/physics)

It's Riven, but in 3d / VR. Except.. different?

It's still Riven, so it'll automatically get a recommended from me, but I don't think its nearly as good as the original. If you're someone that can't play the original due to compatiblity issues, issues with slideshow graphics, or the (significantly) higher difficulty, then this is better, otherwise I would suggest you play/experience the original first, and only then revisit this if you want more.

I played the original Riven as a child, and never managed to finish the puzzles, I just remember fondly wandering around the islands. I did watch videos of others completing the game back then, but this was well over 10 years ago (probably around 15 years ago). I haven't revisited the puzzles or solutions since, and only broadly remembered the story and elements that went into the various puzzles.

That said, I finished this game in about 6 hours, playing at a leisurely pace, reading all the journals out loud. I was able to finish every puzzle first try, and never got stuck except for 1 time when I totally missed the blue mushroom path on jungle island. Add an additional ~1h to complete the achievements and bad endings, and this is a very short game. That might be what you are looking for, but not at all what the original Riven did, where you would want to take a break and think about the stuff you found. Here it kept being quite clear what to do (or aim for at least) or what I still needed.

In general I think none of the changes are 'bad' - they are integrated well narratively and fit gameplay wise - but I never had a question of what to do next, I always knew exactly what I needed to do or what piece I was missing, while that might sound like a good thing, that was part of the magic of the original.

Disclaimer: I haven't tried the VR yet, and I will probably replay in VR over the next few days, though I expect it will be very immersive it cannot really address the other points.

Arguably the last great singleplayer RTS game. Adds just enough to make it a significant upgrade over Ra3.
Won't match zero hour, but I'd give it second place, considering RA2 is a bit too dated to enjoy as much nowadays.
