The game really suffers from its implementation of both a "good" and "bad" ending for each route. Iris's story was handled very well, right up until it splits into one of the ending routes. Your actions don't actually decide what route you will go down, they just either give you affection points or hidden points, get 60+ affection to avoid a game over then if you get 50+ hidden you get the bad ending, otherwise good ending. This is so sloppy and lazy, wanting to know more about your girlfriend gives you the bad ending. Iris story spoilers the relationship with Iris is quite unhealthy and toxic and not in a fun way, I think it makes for a really good story and the fact that the player character continues to reject her attempts to get back together is very nice to see. However, this is where it would be so much better to just have multiple routes which are not given a good/bad label and also where the game suffers from the routes forcing you into a relationship or you get a game over. It would be nice to see an outcome where the player character is able to move on from her toxic relationship with Iris and for Iris to grow from her experience with the player character to allow her to have healthy relationships in the future. The routes with Iris either being the player character forgives Iris for all the pain she intentionally inflicted on the player character or the player character gets kidnapped and forced into loving Iris just feels off. Also the Nyx storyline changes so much of how you perceive her and the world around you that I think I would struggle to play through other characters routes afterwards, but the way she's introduced I imagine most people would romance her first.

Very unique and interesting premise, opening up with a lot of mystery that sadly ends open ended, I kind of wanted an explanation . Both of the main characters are so mentally ill, they need therapists not love, but they are cute regardless. Very sappy, very sad, very fun. Only happy endings here, no tragic Yuri :)
