Please pardon my playtime, as I had previously completed the fan translated version already, and I just want to support the Muv Luv Series.

Muv-Luv is a visual novel that starts off with a normal generic school romance type game. This first part (ML-Extra) acts as a contrast for how the story will develop in the later games. After finishing this generic first part, you'll be somewhat familiarized with the characters. You're now ready to play Muv-Luv Unlimitied.

Unlimited is where you, the main character, will be transported to an alternate world wherein aliens have invaded Earth, and are killing people left and right. In this alternate world, humanity is losing the "war" with these aliens, and giant robots called TSFs have been created to combat the threat. However, all throughout this alternate world's history, the results are not good, and humanity is losing the "war."

Muv-Luv has an excellent story, but, sadly, it's still a "build-up" to the "main show" Muv-Luv Alternative. Still! I have fallen in love with the Muv-Luv universe, and I recommend this game to anyone who will give it a chance!
