Early Access Review
The only good part in this game is the tutorial zone, everything else is so unbelievably bad and unintuitive.
Its hard to believe they worked on this game for 2 years before it released for EA and for TWENTY FIVE US DOLLARS this is pure theft.

-The general lack of basic information for, genuinely anything. Attack speed? Damage increase for investing in skills? What kind of damage spells do? Is this a new item in my inventory? What slot is this ability slot in my UI? Where am i going for this contract? What is this status symbol on my characters health bar? How the hell do I progress? Who the hell knows! :)

-The overworld is a slog to traverse and genuinely boring.

-NPC enemies are unbalanced. Archers projectiles track and they will snipe you from a field away. Enemies can parry two-handed weapons and magic(??) without flinching. They never seem to run out of mana or stamina. This is mostly due to just general unbalance across the entire game. Co-op Conquests will throw you a field where you have to fight like 6-8 enemies at a time that will gang rush you Dark Souls II style. Prepare to lose all your currency.

-The gross amount of unbalance in skills, mechanics and meaningful progression. Healing (and priest class) is so over tuned you might as well not play any other class. Magic costs so much mana you'll realistically only be able to use a skill around 3 times before you have to use a mana pot or heavily invest in magic stat. Even then if you decide to level up a magic skill say Fireball, now your mana cost is doubled for every point you invest and you run into the same problem again. Shields break the entire core mechanic of the game of blocking/parrying your left/top/right side of your character by just making shields block all directions.

There is more to add to this list, but I can't be bothered to write more. As it stands this game is a hard no, for $25 there are so, SO many better and actually developed games you can play, don't get swindled. It took them TWO YEARS to release this at this state, I wouldn't get your hopes up that the devs will make any meaningful progression with this game in another 2 years that this game needs to bake in the over.

A beautiful game with so much potential that is held back by abysmal performance. Completely un-optimized PC port that is also suffering from memory leaks. On a fresh start up of the game, it runs smooth as butter but over time it stutters and drops frames that progressively gets worse until it crashes. Even when above the recommended specs for the game, it still runs absolutely horrible at 1080p. If you dont have a modern GPU that can run DLSS, you're screwed, dont bother buying this game. As it stands I cannot recommend, especially at its steep $70 USD price point. Grab it in the future with optimization patches or wait for sale.

PC Specs:

RAM: 32GB G.SKILL DDR5 @ 6000Mhz
GPU: EVGA FTW RTX 3080 TI
Motherboard: ROG STRIX Z690-E
Storage: Samsung 980 PRO M.2
