Spelunky 2 is a genius game, both in its mechanics, level design, and learnable movement/combat tech, as well as its atmosphere and loveable character designs and silly antics.

Whatever way you decide to play- this game will grab you with its iron hooks and drag you into it. At least, thats what's going on with me.

Playing this game and trying to get your highest score on the daily, or trying to go as deep as you can into the last area is exactly what a rouguelike game like spelunky needed, and it EXCELS in creating an inviting game that welcomes you run after run into open arms. Do those arms sometimes push you onto landmines, or under crushing blocks? Sometimes. But you know what you're getting into by that point.

Spelunky 2 is one of my favourite games of all time, and even after all this time, it still holds up so well. I definitely reccomend buying it if you aren't too put off by the occasional late-game death, or early game bump. Power through it's challenges, and Spelunky will reward you with areas so tense and problems so satisfying to solve that you'll get goosebumps.

If you have a friend you want to play this with, do it. Get the game. You'll be glad. Hell im still messaged to this day if im available to play lol.

Ever wanted to purchase every adobe image/video editing program without all the crashes, at a good price, and by a studio that is not evil?

Yes, it's main purpose is for pixel art, but you'd be surprised how useful it can be outside of pixel art as well.

If you're on the fence, buy it. You'll be glad you did. Also pretty cool that i can see how many hours I've put into something like drawing or editing in the program.

What a gorgeous experience- Specifically to play with someone you hold close online.

I would have NEVER thought I'd cry at a lego game. This game hit me very hard in a welcome bitter-sweet sort of way.

Most of the puzzles are incredibly intuitive and my partner and I were able to beat the game without going online for hints or help. no puzzle was too unclear or too vague on what to do. The whole game is quite linear and VERY polished (as far as I can tell) and SO MUCH love and care was poured by the gallon into this game.

I cannot overstate this enough, please play this game, and please play it with someone you love. Its fun, it's silly and its gorgeous.

This game is a STEAL right now for 64 cents CAD, let alone 1.29$ without any discount.

It's simple to understand, a good challenge, and plays incredibly smoothly. Moving and shooting feels incredible, and even if you aren't necessarily good at shooters or top-down games, you'll still have a blast and feel real cool when you kill like 6 guys with one shot.

This game sloppily interprets both horror game elements and depictions of rape/sexual assault.

It is a funny game, but it takes itself far too lightly to be taken seriously and often as times I had any semblance of immersion broken by a meme onscreen or text that wasn't fitting.

The concept of the neighbor drilling through the wall is an excellent concept on it's own and was absolutely used well towards the beginning. Peeping through the new hole each time you get up is fascinating, and you begin to worry and wonder while you're doing other things. Unfortunately, that's the only praise I can give it. The rest is running through walls that look like salmon meat and internet-trendy analog horror that is incredibly cheesy. Yes there is a story to play through, and the story is easy to follow and the artistic interpretation is there, and the beginning is full character- but this game is sloppily put together between the assets, gameplay, and its various filters and the way it handles its intense and incredibly fragile subject matter.

This is a game where you can absolutely tell that the creator has put tons of love and care into it's creation and execution. IMSCARED is incredibly clever with its mechanics throughout and it is absolutely excellent at setting up scary scenarios and settings for it's player to explore.

5.00$ is a STEAL for a game like this. I of course recommend playing as blindly as possible.

This is a mixed bag for me.

I genuinely think the GAME is great.
You get to play as accurate SCP monsters and classes (Like Mobile Task Forces and Chaos Insurgency) in a server-based game with your friends and randoms, great game for anyone who enjoys the SCP-foundation and the world built around it the last decade or-so.

-just maybe don't add this one to your library if you don't want to be called a few slurs playing this game. This community can be quite abhorrent, but I have also met some of my best friends on this game, so- take that as you will.
