This game is amazing in so many aspects.

Visually? INSANE
Gameplay? INSANE
General feel? INSANE

Microsoft is literally stupid, you can't make this up.

This game is actually SO bugged it should literally be illegal to release in this state.

Torch at 100? Here, have some fights specific to 0 torch.

Flagellant's Fester clears corpses? Surely, that also means it insta-kills enemies.

Why are there no blight heroes beyond plague doctor and flag, the latter making the former redundant?

I want to like this game, I ADORE DD1, but this is just a cashgrab with a loved IP.

EDIT:

These bugs have happened no more and I'm calmer now, because of that.

Game's aight, but it's not DD1.

Settlemoon is a rather pleasant experience, a game that plays both when you are actually playing it and not, same formula as many mobile city builders.

What is cool:
- The game is thematically very pleasant, and one of those games that is a vibe to have on the background while you do other stuff.
- Being linked to real time, it forces you to be patient and take things slow, which accomodates for a cozier experience without too much mental stack.
- Bugs cool :D
- Very simple 1-bit-ish art that makes for uncomplicated visuals

What is not so cool:
- The UI tends to feel very cluttered and at times, it feels like everything is fighting for your attention. When there's a building not yet constructed, I don't really need to know how many of each ingredient I have so far unless I hover on said building, it makes for a lot of noise. Same with other details like NPC names.
- Following on the previous one, it would be nice for bits of the screen to dim down or light up according to their relevance in that given moment (i.e., the lower UI lighting up when you're navigating it + the town dimming down)
- Several bits of the game are a bit too difficult to figure out, even with the help of the occasional butterfly to guide the player, some features become hidden to the naked eye. While I can respect this decision from a game design perspective, it takes a bit too many liberties for me to agree with it.

If you like city builders and the DnD aesthetic, I recommend this game.

Also PLEASE ADD FULLSCREEN, I NEED TO HAVE THE CITY OCCUPYING MY WHOLE SCREEN, 'TIS A VIBE
