it plays nicely, the visuals are great, the combat feels good, the npcs have personality and are likable! the bosses can be a skill hurdle but nothing you cant beat. yes, its nothing new for a "souls-like" but nothing changed since dark souls 1 in that genre anyways. ignore the "game journalists", no idea whats with them and giving it a hard time with poorly rated reviews. not like they ever got past the first enemy. ign 5/10 and pcgamesn 6/10

i like the game, i really do. a great artstyle, amazing music and no annoying story.
HOWEVER:
the game is way too short, there are no unlocks for finishing a run, and you have no reason to play someone other than rumia. after 45 minutes of playing i finished 2 runs and no hit all of the 4 bosses.
i want to recommend the game, but i cant. not for almost 9 bucks.
sorry, but if you expect a game like "the binding of isaac". this aint it chief.
the closest thing to a game like that but "touhou'd" would be "touhou endless dream". its not fully translated and i doubt it will ever be but at least the runs feel unique...


IF the game gets updated to include more stages, more bosses and item unlocks i will definetly come back to it, but until that time comes, its a refund.
