Shadow the Hedgehog, you got a small ♥♥♥♥. It's the size of this walnut except WAY smaller. And guess what? Here's what my dong looks like. That's right, baby. You'd be surprised, but most experts believe it to derive from the combination of "♥♥♥" and "sock" as it refers to a sock one uses to ♥♥♥ in.

However, for whatever reason people didn't, long ago, put in writing what object they stuff their ♥♥♥♥ into before busting a nut.

1999 surely was the breakout year for ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in socks. The song "Doin' Laundry" by Nerf Herder mentions it, and American Pie has a scene for it, but both apparently postdate the coining of "cumsock", at least in known use. The first known usage of "cumsock(s)" is in a Usenet post.

It's almost certainly not the first actual use, and probably not even the first one in text. Many people probably came up with it independently.

Of course nothing comes from nothing, and we see how the cumsock evolved in this post by the same guy as the Usenet post, we see "♥♥♥ sock". Most English compound nouns start off like this, so bookshelf starts as book shelf, then maybe book-shelf and finally bookshelf.
