It's come a long way.

Destiny 2 is one of my favorite games of all time. I've sunk a ton of hours in it (a total of 1181 hours not tracked on Steam). The franchise has had it's ups and downs over the years, but in Destiny 2's current state, its fantastic.

You get the vanilla and first two DLC campaigns for free, which are fantastic for the price of $0. A lot of story and loot to absorb.
The most recent DLCs, Forsaken and Shadowkeep, are fantastic bundles of content. A ton of loot to get and the main pieces of content like raids and other activities are phenomenal.

--Update--
The New Light experience has been updated with the release of Beyond Light so now is a great time to jump in and play for free! It was pretty confusing before, but it will actually properly introduce you if you don't have a friend to help guide you.

Constantly updated keeping it fresh, I always have come back to it over the years. You can play for long term, or play short term and pick it up and put it down often. One of my favorite games of all time.

Not many hours on it yet, but it is ridiculously addicting. Honestly, why are you even reading this review? Just make sure you get the complete Civ V bundle.

A cruel and unforgiving game. Fills me with anger like FTL does.

I love Cave Story so much. A wonderful story. Easy to beat, but very difficult to get the best ending.

A wonderful rouge-like game where you land on a planet and fight for surivival to the final level or go into an endless like mode where you repeat all the previous levels at harder difficulty. You complete achievements, unlock new characters, and recieve many randomized items from various chests and item-givers. It can be a little buggy at times, more noticable in multiplayer, although its not usually anything game breaking and you can still have a great time.

7/10 for fun-factor but isn't currently updated often at all to fix annoying bugs.

A simple but addicting game! You have 8 randomized regions with different travel points in them containing events where you might fight a ship, be presented with a choice of options that have either a good or bad result, or there might be a shop. You try to stay alive until the final region to win, but if you die you're done and you have to start over! Plenty of ships and weapons. I absoultely love this game and would recommend it to anyone.

Summary: Most fun you will have raging.
