I can not begin to express how glad I am that this is the one single-player game I actually picked up, played, and beat for the first time in many many years. The story, the world, and the characters involved in this game had me completely immersed in this world. I wanted to do the right thing, I wanted to save those girls, I wanted to save everybody. I agonized over every decision and rewound time over and over trying to get the best choice each and every time. I cried multiple times throughout the story and the last chapter was one of the biggest rollercoasters ever. I was unable to do anything but save my BFF and watch everything else burn. I couldn't even imagine not saving her after everything we had been through, imagining letting her die without ever knowing how much Max, how much "I" cared, is a painful thought in and of itself. I finished the entire game in a single 20 hour sitting I couldn't break myself away from and even woke up the next day thinking about the story and the choices made. 10/10 this is an amazing gem.

This is the first game I have beat in many years and I did it in two very long sittings. The story just keeps getting more and more twisted as it draws you in and makes you emphasize with the main character Susan. You accompany her on her journey from a timid woman suffering from depression cowering in her apartment alone and scared to a strong and resourceful woman who will do whatever is required to survive. Even if doing so turns her into a beast herself. I also found myself falling in love with the female side lead Mitzi and her interactions with Susan. Mitzi has a vibrancy and honesty about her that just melts your heart. I was fighting tears at the end and I even got the perfect ending! I would highly reccomend this to just about anybody based on how amazing the story is alone. I do have to warn you that the puzzles in this game are insanely hard. They really require you to pay attention and piece all of the clues together in a logical manner. I had to look up a walkthrough several times when I just could not figure out what to do.

This game has been pretty fun so far. It's similar to Diablo 2 and Torchlight. However I've enjoyed it far more than either of those so far. Pick it up if it goes on sale ^^.
