Its got a similar gameplay loop to I Am Your Beast, its only a short demo of what is to come. Pretty fun little experience, and a good demo. Biggest complaint is you cant toggle your sprint button but its only a demo, and a good one at that. Give it a shot, its worth it.

Extremely unfun game to play, but experience is subjective I suppose. If you want a larger FOV if you play on ultrawide do this:

Hit Windows Key + R and Paste This:

%localappdata%\Steam_Unpossess\Saved\Config\Windows

Edit Engine.ini
At the bottom of the text file add this

[/script/engine.localplayer]
AspectRatioAxisConstraint=AspectRatio_MaintainYFOV

Now you have a larger FOV, enjoy, if you can, I didn't

Genuinely fun beat em up game, especially co-op, levels are beautiful in design and combat is satisfying. I picked it up for $15 on sale and its absolutely worth it. Would recommend a playthrough with a friend :)

One of the greatest extraction looter games I have ever played. IronMace have been through a treacherous hell with battling Nexon and deserves every good thing that happens to them. I have followed this game in its earliest stages post kickstarter and they were some of the most memorable gaming moments I've shared in a long time with close friends. From sharing the torrent seeds with my buddies for those play-tests to it being released on their own standalone launcher I am genuinely proud of what this team is capable of and even more excited as to what the future brings for them and for us.

I beat the game in about 30hrs, most of which was kinda repetitive. Game suffers from a serious lack of content at release as there's 3 separate chapters with one main event and two episodes. The main event is its own map whilst the two episodes after are a different map, but they share said map. After you beat the main event and the two episodes after you're given the required choice to replay the main event twice, with 2 separate harder difficulties. You need to play ever chapters main event 3 times in order to get access to the seasonal challenge. The seasonal challenge is just a repetitive nightmare. There are attempts to make it interesting, as one of the levels has a "thief" loadout where you don't have your rig, spawn with 2 lockpicks, and 1 less inventory slot. Still takes place in the prison's main event level.

If the game honestly had more maps on release my opinion of them wouldn't be so negative, however what you do come across in these maps is nothing short of a grotesque artshow of dismemberment and dread. A lot of the maps are put together environmentally with so much care that it honestly takes me back sometimes and asks "what is wrong with the developers heads" (In a good, twisted, way). If they were to release some sort of workshop tools to allow the community to develop maps right off the bat and have a mario maker trial thing where you try to make it through X amount of levels with X amount of lives, that would make this game last forever.

The AI is fun to learn to exploit and learn the quirks of, and the stealth mechanics are rewarding on the higher difficulties, once you get adapted to the hardest levels, its almost a joke to go back and play with new randos that are level 6 and the enemies do laughable amounts of damage as you use a smoke landmine that is by far the most overpowered item in the entire game.

I really like this game, I had a lot of fun, and I almost made it under the 20k threshold of people who escaped the trials. I recommend this game if you are an avid solo player as thats where 80% of my playtime was spent. As far as co-op your teammates either hold you back or make the game insanely trivial. There needs to be a way better flow balance when it comes to enemy dynamics the more players are connected in a lobby and make the game even harder than it is. Solo by far is the definitive way to play this game.

Would not stop crashing, the most enjoyable part of the game though was the classroom that was pretty fun but the amount of times I crashed ruined the whole experience for me :L

Extremely awful checkpoint system, it was kinda ridiculous how many times I had to start an area from the beginning
