Game definitely does NOT deserve all this hate its getting.

The MTX are completely unnecessary it's not like the consumer has to buy them, or makes them feel like they are missing out on anything, all the items can be obtained very early in the game and only helps for the first couple hours. Compared to other games from Capcom ""SF6 HAVING A BATTLE PASS AND $20 PAYWALL FOR OTHER CHARACTER(S)""

They have already came out and said they are working on making a new game option, and improving performance. I understand being upset that it didn't come with the new game option, but when they said practically day 1 they are working on a fix for it doesn't mean it deserves the review bomb. Y'all can't just keep blaming developers for stuff like this, it's the publishing and marketing team that forces these things, it's just how they perceive modern gaming turning.

As for the performance, while I do think people on NVIDIA 20 series and up should be getting better fps, the game has run fine-ish, for me. I have 3070 with i9-10900kf, outside of cities I average 55-60fps on medium-high settings. Once again, cannot blame the developer team for this as they had a deadline and they had to choose to sacrifice either performance or graphics, and consumers make a bigger deal out of a graphical downgrade, look at Watchdogs for example, people still haven't let them live that down from E3 over a decade ago.

As for the game it's self and price, I find the $70 price tag for modern games to be egregious, but so is the rest of the economy in this age.

The game is extremely fun, the environment is beautiful, character, weapon, and armor models look great as well. Gameplay can feel a bit repetitive at times, but the feeling this game gives outweighs that, not to say the feeling is perfect 100% of the time, the character movement can be frustrating I've found, the teetering on a cliff animation you can feel stuck in or feel magnetized to cliff, and sometimes the character will just straight up jump off the cliff if you are within 10 feet of it. The climbing on giant enemies is fun, and unique to the series but can also feel clunky, with the character moving based on their directions, and not direction of the camera, I found myself getting stuck on arms/legs a LOT, especially on the enemies that wear armor. With all that said, in the end I still enjoyed the feeling and combat of the game, very fun trying out other vocations and mixing augments to further strengthen the vocation you main/enjoy.

The main story is great though feels kinda short, as for side quests they are fun other than fetch/deliver quest feels kinda outdated in that aspect. I don't want to speak too much on the story or quests to avoid spoilers, but in the end it was pretty entertaining, at least 7.5/10 for the story.

At the end of it all, the game is great, and is INSANELY enjoyable and I typically hate singleplayer exclusive games, MTX are completely ignorable. Performance while poor-ish, what PC game has came out with great performance for all, at release?

Just take the internet's opinion with a grain of salt, the negative voices are always the loudest, if you enjoy RPGs and creating your own character and feeling that connection to the game and it's setting, this game can definitely fulfill that itch.
