EU5 surprised me at first. It feels very different from EU4, almost like the developers tried to build a bridge between Crusader Kings and Victoria and then fused elements from both. I was pretty annoyed in the beginning because the chess-like sense of calculated moves I loved in EU4 seemed to be gone. But once I got deeper into the game the new approach started to grow on me. It’s more detailed, it has its own rhythm and it offers a different kind of depth.
EU4 will always stand on its own for me and I’ll keep playing it as its own distinct experience. EU5 is something separate, yet a genuinely enjoyable experience in its own way.

A real Simulation game! Don't be fooled by these ridiculous characters they have, it so realistic! They will give me a phD in Space Engineering if i continue playing.
