Gameplay-wise, I love it. It's fast-paced races with the Hot Wheels cars from our childhood on very cool tracks. Looks like what I imagined when I was a 6-year-old playing with my Hot Wheels. I love that aspect. The game looks great too, and I simply LOVE the custom liveries, and all the options they bring I saw a Space Ghost livery for the Roller Toaster and I've been laughing nonstop for 24 hours straight. I haven't tried the track creator yet, nor the online racing.

There's one major aspect I dislike about this game. Microtransactions. When I saw those blind boxes and coins, I started having nightmares of them being sold like GTA V Shark cards. Hasn't happened so far, and I hope it never happens. Blind boxes? Really? I got the Twinmill on the 3rd or 4th Blindbox, which was the car I wanted, and every other blind box was pointless. Now, it's EXTREMELY frustrating when you open a blind box and you get a car you already have. Yeah, you can sell it, but you make the math: You spend 500 coins on a blind box and only sell the repeat car for 300. Why couldn't the developers make a simpler "beat x race, unlock y car" mechanic? Feels like trying to collect all the stickers of a certain sticker album, which I loathed as a kid.

And don't even get me started on selling you half the game and then trying to sell you the other half via DLC.

Great gameplay, but since it resorts to those pesky microtransactions and in-game currency, I can't recommend paying full price for it, that's why I waited for the Winter Sale. the only DLC I'll ever buy is if the Twinmill II is released as DLC.

Jesus, this game sucks. I have no intent on buying it, tested out for a while on this free weekend and I already found everything I needed to found. ESPN's NFL 2k5 and Madden 08 are waaaay better alternatives than this pathetic attempt of a videogame. They have much better gameplay, and depth on their game modes.

EA is by far the worst company on gaming. They should be ashamed of themselves. Ultimate Team is a pathetic attempt of a cashgrab.

Me encanta. Me va a llevar un tiempo pero me propuse completar los otros juegos de la saga.

I am not a fan of the DLC model, but I believe Reiza needs that money more than other big companies that do it out of greed, and they'll probably put it to better use, too. I got the base game and the Season Pass at a sale, that's why I decided on buying it. I've owned Reiza's products since GSC 2013, and truth be told, they never dissapointed me; so after some months of hesitating and following the development of the game, I decided to trust them on this one.
Sadly, the lack of modding support is a big downside for me. I really enjoy the track and car variety modding offers. My favourite combo of Super Formula cars on Autopolis or Sugo might never be possible on AMS2, but Reiza is commited to keep adding more goodies to their collection. So far they offer quite big a variety of cars and tracks. Maybe places like Monza, Zandvoort, Indianapolis or Road America; and some relatively modern touring cars or even IndyCars will be added soon :)
Driving-wise I think it's pretty good, and the weather system is quite enjoyable as well.

Early Access Review

When it comes to pure simulation, rFactor 2 is as good as it can get. Graphically, it might not be as good as other sims, and from time to time you find a bug, which might be a bit frustrating. But it has a lot of features which other sims lack (Standing starts, variable weather, day to night cycle) combined with very realistic physics. I only wish there was more people racing online.
If you want eye candy, you better try out other games. If you want to go as close as you can go to driving a real car from the comfort of your home, then rF2 is for you.

Very good game overall, but I feel it could use some more content. The developers are constantly working on new cars, which is great, but I feel the Track count is very low. It needs more tracks. I don't know which tracks are in the plans of the developers, but hopefully, they'll have some more for releasing in the near future.

Looks very promissing. Nice graphics and a LOT of teams. I hope that kits and logos will be able to get modded. That way, the non licensed teams and kits will be corrected.

This is just a demo in which you create players and teams, it would have been nice to get at least 2 teams to play some matches on 15-a-side rugby as well as the brand new (to the videogames) Sevens.

There is not much to do on this demo, but definetely I will be purchasing it on March 15th. Let's hope it gives rugby fans the game they deserve !
