Bought it. Tried it. Realized it was a daycare simulator filled with underage players that play WAY TOO OFTEN and scream obscenities into the mic. Refunded.

My experience with Forefront in a nutshell.

Game led me to believe that this was going to be an extraction game similar to Dark and Darker. Turns out that it's a really poorly fleshed out 3rd person idea for a game with balancing issues up the wazoo and a community of die hard fans that don't care about any player that they don't personally know in a discord full of bias and developer lap riding.

Stay away. Seriously. Your 30$ and time is better spent elsewhere.

Game good. Was honestly just being stupid and didn't understand it at first.

Played it for a bit, immediately uninstalled after my second game.

It's just overwatch garbage all over again under a new IP. Gamemodes suck, characters suck, models and splash art are horrendously over-sexualized and balance is off the table.

Utter waste of time.

I can see where this game is trying to go, but for me, I can't see myself putting more time into it as much as I already have.

I am someone who absolutely loves hardcore difficulty in games. As frustrating as certain circumstances can sometimes get, increased difficulty forces me to take more strategic approaches to a situation. This game just isn't there at the moment. Even within breathing distance from an enemy, it takes absolutely forever for them to decide whether they want to start shooting at you or stand there waiting to take a bullet to the head.

The inventory system is also one that I really do not enjoy. I didn't like it in the Walking Dead, I do not like it here. I want to be able to freely shove as much garbage into my backpack as I want, with the only drawback being that I either can't sprint, my stamina drains faster, my hunger increases faster, or all of the above at once.

At the end of the day, I'd say that this game still needs some time in the oven. Not recommending in its current state.

Addicted is what I called myself about this game already.

This visuals are stunning, looting in the midst of an all out war only to dive in like a vulture to pick the bodies clean is adrenaline pumping, and playing with Co-Op is an absolute blast and a half while we're both panicking wondering what in the world we're supposed to do in the situation we put ourselves in.

This game is ambitious, pushing what a game is capable of doing to it's limits which will inevitably cause it to break in places we didn't even know a game could break in. That's the beauty of this awesome early access title. I can't wait to play more. I'm utterly HOOKED.

Side note: If you're still worried about the water system, then it proves that you are not used to extraction shooters. Every other title in the genre wipes your rep and inventory upon every "wipe" yet no one seems to have a single problem with it, ESPECIALLY since those titles are also online and PvP, and not PvE only. So take off your rose tinted glasses, because we're not in Kansas anymore, Dorothy.

I no longer think the same way of this game. The community sucks, the moderation is worse, the devs have their heads so far up where the sun don't shine that they can't see the crap storm right infront of them, on top of every factor of this game being an unbalanced nightmare. It may be early access, but this game already doesn't have a great future.

Go buy Gray Zone warfare instead.

Hot Garbage. UI is a mess and plagued with the usual "In-your-face" type of marketing for its content and is incredibly overwhelming, the movement and combat is incredibly clunky and slow, attacks don't register, classes are un-balanced, etc etc etc...

In conclusion: Go play Dark and Darker. This sucks.
