While the start is very slow, it picks up pace rather quickly. It's a good game to sit back and play.

I thought this was a bigger game. But it seems like the entire world is on a 10 x 10 grid you move around. The battles aren't engaging and the inventory management is a nightmare.

Perhaps I didn't play it enough, but the video shows someone building much more detail than I was able to. It shows multiple buildings in different weather with tiny touches of windows and doors and so on.

I was unable to work out how to add doors. I wasn't able to just put on windows. The weather was always sunny and it was a small, limited area of forest, only 1 type of flowers...

It was disappointing and I ended up getting a refund because it only had enough things for about a half hours entertainment.

Randomly generated murders. For those of us who like logic puzzles, this is the game for you (and me)

September 8th, 2024 - I just played .3 hours and I am considering a refund. The tutorial is TERRIBLE. If I am getting confused about how to put on clothes when I understand at the start how to get a dwarf to mine in Dwarf Fortress, something is wrong here. The tutorial needs serious work. But.. I'm going to keep the game. It's not much (to me at least. I know, to some people, it may be more) to see what becomes of it. The developers seem to be working on it a lot and perhaps it will shine for me one day. But today is not the day. I will return and update my review should it get better. But for now, have to go with thumbs down.

You will not find a better World Dwarf simulator that has a well in it.

It's good, but not great. More updates would be nice.

Despite what many recent reviewers are saying, the dev is actually a good team and they put in a joke into the patch notes that people are now going ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ over.

It's a good, solid game. Nothing was removed from the game and put into DLC unless you count removing it from the beta branch (which is to be expected).

Perhaps the best survival game out there.
