In all honesty, this game is only for the masochists in its release state. The amount of workplace accidents got annoying quick - managable, but annoying - as there was nothing you could do to reduce them.
The restricted space and perspective made planning out your ships layout essential for survival.
Most buildings were a useful addition to you ship, either for managing your ressources or reducing the populations complaint level :D (home-/earthsick idiots)
The soundtrack is absolutely gorgeous and graphic design is top notch. Looking at your ship from the outside is always a blast - could be better optimised though. It is rather dependent on a beefy computer, especially if you've opened up/fully decked out all sectors of your ship.

tl;dr: worker twisted ankle, ice wasn't delivered, no water was made, crops didn't grow, people starved, strikes ensued, station fell apart ... 8/10 would secure workplace again!

Rock and Stone!

Classic fun, you can easily return to even years later.

Not your typical Anno, but certainly one of the best futuristic City Builders out there

11/10 Would strip-mine whole planets again.

About the DLC: it's another great addition to the game, with two new temperate and one artic zone balancing out the sectors in the game, making the management of them far more satisfying. The new "faction" Synths is a good challenge for folks bored in the late game and enemy invasions mix up combat a bit - it get's a bit less repetitive.

Tl;dr: Overall a good addition in my opinion, fleshing out the base game.

Edit: Removed concerns about pricing after inclusion of this DLC in the Season Pass, raising it's value in turn significantly.
