Borderlands 3 is the best disappointment I've ever played. If you're a fan of the franchise, you likely already have this game, but if your'e not already a fan, you probably wont like it. From a gameplay perspective, it's... good? There's lots of diverse builds to aspire to and of course the acclaimed "zillion" guns to mess around with, but after a while it all feels sort of same-y, there's never really a point in end game where any build other than glass cannon will be of any real benefit. Story-wise, the game is pretty hit or miss, if your'e a longtime fan of the series it is almost definitely always going to be a miss. The writing is far from the best, especially if you compare it to something like borderlands 2, which (as I'm sure you've heard a million times) has a decent narrative and a great, compelling main villain. This game lacks any memorable boss fights and feels like it's too afraid to try anything new in terms of mechanics for said fights. The same can be said about the two main villains, really, their depth doesn't really go beyond anything you see in the trailers. Still, the game itself is very fun and if you wanna have a good time shooting stuff while listening to background noise, I would definitely say to check this game out on sale.
