Forgive the simple review, but it was just fun to play! It's not endless, so it's nice to complete the goal. And the Gnorps are adorable little buddies.

It's a fun game, but it doesn't really feel like it respects your time.
I honestly think it often comes down to the lack of option to nudge. Too often you're left at the whims of the physics waiting for the ball to come down on the right flipper or spot, so you're constantly shooting the ball in the hopes that it ends up in the location you want when it drops back down, and the speed of the ball often means it can bounce right back onto the opposite side (and most of the "tables" I have played so far have lacked loop lanes to guarantee a ball lands where expected.) Also, having the ball continuously bounce back to the launcher in save rooms is... well, it doesn't feel well-designed. You could use walls that come out to lock in place to prevent this, or some sort of element that slows the ball to prevent the rebound.
I really am rooting for this game, and it's not like I feel it can't be improved upon. I just hope some changes can help and really make it a solid classic, and I can change this to a "recommended" 🙂

It's a great game, absolutely loved it. Can't wait to try and beat it in under 10 hours on the hardest difficulty.

Quite interesting game, I think it was a fun take on a horror experience!

Absolute mastercraft in execution and concept, able to make the simplest of pixels send a chill down your spine.
People have asked if this game is worth its price because of the graphics.
High fidelity is not what makes things scary alone.
Horror is an unlit basement.
Horror is a thump behind your closed door.
Horror is a curtain shifting with no breeze.

The mind is what makes horror work, and the atmosphere crafted by Airdorf is sublime in drawing out your brain's discomfort.

An excellent game.
I mean... not a game.

In all seriousness, a very witty experience with plenty of humor to it. Simple to play, completely mouse driven that makes it accessible on streaming, steam deck, touch screen, or desktop.
It also has a much deeper story beneath the seems, with some real interesting highlights on how a creator interfaces with their work, and the burdens that come from it. Please support this not a game, so we can continue to get more unique experiences from this developer. Also I definitely took longer than 2 hours, it just didn't record my time right for some reason.

Very fun, random elements are not so random as to be frustrating. Truly feels like skill determines advancement over luck.

Early Access Review
I used to like this game, especially since the demo, but it ramped up in such great difficulty that it just becomes a very rare occurrence you can ever beat it, and even if you do the map generation in the next stage will likely be so dense you'll die quite quickly and lose all your upgrades.
It just became too difficult for me, not sure if that's a solo play issue, but it was sad because I did enjoy it at first.

An awesome game with an awesome song. Probably lasts about half-an hour at most, definitely worth a dollar, but they're giving it away for free!
If you've ever played Smash TV, it definitely feels like the devs were a fan of that game when they made this first low-budget amateur title, so you'll definitely have a good romp with this.

Important - don't just run through the game, please take the time to look around at the environment.
Good: Scary Short Experience. You won't be left feeling empty at the end.
It's free!
No real puzzles but LOTS of attention to detail in environments, look at everything.
Despite optimization, ran it on a 760 with everything at low and still had fun. Just don't expect 60fps (not that this needs it.)
It's a thinking person's story. It leaves things open ended, which makes for fun discussion. Trust me, if the game had an explanation for everything, it wouldn't be nearly as compelling.
Bad - Kinda unoptimized.
To select option in the pause menu, you'll need to move your mouse to the left of the text. Attempting top use WASD and enter in the pause menu will crash the game. No Resolution settings.
Cuts off text on the intro menu about changing options, but no actual resolution issues AFAIK.
It sets up what I thought was a puzzle I could solve early, and nope, just gotta keep playing unfortunately, no way to suss it out yourself.
