bro. it's a roguelike that removes the downside of all roguelikes i've ever played. the one single downside. when you die, it ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sucks. this game doesn't have that. when you die, instead of "UUUUUUGHHHHHHHH" its a lighter "ugh, whatever. now i can see what's new in the lobby!", because everytime you die, there's always going to be something new and exciting waiting at the lobby area, the area before you start the game. be it something entirely new, like a new special quest, or simply a character having something new to say. if you progressed ANY farther than you did in your last run, something new and exciting that progresses the main storyline WILL be waiting for you. guaran-♥♥♥♥♥♥♥-teed. like fr in any other roguelike, dying is a pain. in this game, looking around the lobby after dying and seeing something new feels like CHRISTMAS!!!!!!

this game honestly cheats in the fan feedback department by being customizable. you can either make it a rush to get back to your dome as fast as you can before the time limit, there's also a mode where your dome handles it all itself, and you can just relax and get resources. you can also literally unlock a mode where enemy invasions don't show up at all! (but thats boring dont do that)

this game has opened my eyes. i am a person who has only played 3 triple A pc games in his entire life. i'm not too fond of triple A slop and would rather stick to indie games, but this game has genuinely opened my eyes to new games. friendly reminder that a week ago i would have rather walked across a desert of hot coals than buy a triple A game, but i convinced myself to give this a shot after listening to bury the light. and, well. maybe triple A games aren't that bad. if you've found yourself stuck in the same indie game rabbit hole that i have, please please please! don't hesitate to save up and give this a try! you could always refund it if you don't like it, you know. there's no risk. so please. give it a try, maybe you'll love it, maybe you won't. you'll never know if you don't give it a chance.

normally i wouldn't like these types of games, but this one does it so well. and to top it off your run is so customizable you can make it either the hardest thing in existance or so laid back you don't need to use the directional keys to survive

short and sweet, i consider more of a "really good songs, but with gameplay!" instead of "gameplay, but look, there's also music!" oh and also if you're like "oh what if i dont like the songs ughhhfhfhrhh" SO WAS I! I CAME IN WITH THE EXACT SAME ATTITUDE AND LITERALLY OVER HALF MY PLAYLIST HAS JUST TURNED INTO ONES THAT I HEARD FROM JSAB!!!!
