Very short, but worth playing before starting MGS5.

Really fun game if you wanna destory a bunch of ♥♥♥♥ in the most satisfying way possible, although the shooting mechanics are a little strange and clunky they are fun once you get the hang of them. Also if you're a fan of the Saint's Row series (Saints Row 2 in particular) it is good to know that the universes of the two games are connected and there are references to that in the game which is cool. The story isn't anything crazy but it works for what the game is trying to do. Considering performance I have had a few issues, I'm using a GTX 1050ti with an i7 processor and sometimes I notice a stutter in the FPS when playing, usually when im just driving around and not destorying stuff too. The game also crashes for me and a lot of other people when it is in exclusive fullscreen mode and you destroy a large building, I'd suggest using the windowed fullscreen mode if you don't want the game crashing on you. Overall I'd recommend this re-master especially if you haven't played the game before and I have high hopes that the devs will fix all the problems that I and others have been experienceing very soon.

If you are looking a good sniper game you found it. If you are looking for a compelling story look elsewhere, but the story is servicable if you're just looking for really fun gameplay which this game has. The only real problems I have with it are how dumb the AI is and also how you don't see any enter/exit bullet wounds on the enemies body after you see the x-ray kill-cam, just a minor thing that breaks immersion for me a little. But besides that I would highly recommend Sniper Elite 4 and the other 3 games in the series!

I know this review is a little late considering Gone Home came out in August, but this game needs to be talked about. Made by a small independent developer, The Fullbright Company, I wasn’t sure what to expect going into Gone Home mainly because its their first full release. It’s safe to say I was not disappointed. Even though the game takes only an hour and a half to two hours to complete, there is so much the developers packed into that time that the shortness of the game can be easily overlooked. Gone Home comes off as just a small adventure/mystery game at first, but it really turns out to be so much more than that with an amazing story that can really get to you on an emotional level. You play a character name Katie who comes home from a year long vacation to find her whole family is missing. There is a note left by her sister Sam saying she left home, and not to try to find her. With that, and a few emotional, urgent sounding voice messages left on the answering machine, you can’t help but be sucked into the story and the extremely well made 1995 atmosphere. Another interesting thing about this game is that its Katey’s first time being in the house since her family moved when she was away, so the house feels just as new and curious to her as it does to you. Gone Home has shown some of the best characters in any game release in 2013 without them even being there, the shows us really how well written this game is. The only way of learning about these characters is by finding notes, letters, and voice overed journal’s found throughout the house. Katie's sister Sam is the most developed character whose story really has the biggest impact on the way the game moves along. The audio journals read by Sam are triggered when you find specific items throughout the house; these audio journals are so terrifically voice acted it has you believing every word Sam says which really pulls you into the games stellar atmosphere. There are so many things to find throughout this game it will take you multiple play throughs to find everything this game has to offer. Gone Home was such an amazing experience with great characters, level design, and storytelling, it's impossible to keep your eyes off this one. I’m going to give Gone Home a perfect, 10 out of 10. I’m so exited to see what Fullbright Company has in store for us for years to come.
