I sincerely wish I could say that I loved this game, but I just can't quite bring myself to give it a good recommendation.

The positives: The atmosphere (what you can see of it) is incredibly beautiful. The sound design is quite nice and many of the puzzles are enjoyable and range from simple "find an item (such as a key) to use on another item (such as a lock)," to classic puzzle genres (i.e. "Tower of Hanoi"), to ones that require the use of the special lenses you unlock in the early portions of the game to illuminate new details you can't initially see.

The negatives: The game, overall, is incredibly dark visually. The atmosphere would benefit tremendously from some sort of in-game brightness adjustment. I often found myself missing tiny items that would have still been fairly well-hidden even with a brighter setting, and couldn't resolve the issue even with trying other monitors.
The negative to the variety of puzzles means that some were, in my opinion, "fiddle around with this thing until it does something." I could have been missing clues along the way (due to the dark ambiance), but this brings me to my last, neutral gripe.

The hints. I can't decide if I liked them or hated them when they were needed. While they do an exceptional job of not spoon-feeding a solution to the player, usually the first couple hints are, "Maybe I should investigate <giant and obvious puzzle in the middle of the room>." "Hmm... This <giant and obvious puzzle> must have clues around here somewhere!"
For details that were obscured by the ambiance, where only the third hint would say "It seemed like there was a <thing> in <location>," this was incredibly frustrating. A possible solution to this would be a setting to help players choose how fast or slow their hints recharge.

Final conclusion:
In its current state, I can't really recommend the game. But with a couple minor tweaks like the ability to adjust in-game brightness or hint-charge speed, the worst of my frustrations would be alleviated enough that I probably would recommend it for anyone wanting to try out this genre of puzzle.

Cute, simple, and enjoyable. There are indeed cats (and maybe some not-cats ) in this game.

Early Access Review
A QoL update was recently (at the time of writing) launched that has made this game much more playable. Prior to this update, I would have given this game a "meh" review, but now it's a very playable and unique sort of clicker.
There is a fairly steep learning curve when it comes to weapons (upgrading quality, inserting gems, figuring out what weapons benefit what play style/ learning how to pick the best weapons to use) that didn't feel very intuitive without a guide, but overall this is a rather solid clicker with very fair/reasonable achievements.
