Hi, my name is Luiz Alex (kind of). If you are an English speaker, just call me Alex. All I am here for is to have fun, which games have been providing me for over two decades now. Been gaming since I was a child, way before I even understood English, and hope to do it until the end of my days. I try to be chill about most things, but I am a unabashed Marxist-Leninist all the same, in case that is a cut off for you. After all, the banks are made of marble, with a guard at every door and the vaults are stuffed with silver that the workers sweated for.

I just hope that people are polite back and keep their tempers under control. After all, we are here to have fun. I don't necessarily go out of my way to make friends, but that is always welcome to me. In other words, please manage your salt levels and we will be cool.

However, I don't play super seriously all the time and I am not the best at any genre or game. I also don't like people who trashtalk the adversary, even worse are trolls ruining the fun of others. Plus, I am usually offline for a while due to work and university, it's rare for me to be able to enjoy long gaming sessions, the exceptions being the eventual holidays and such. My research in university is actually about long term preservation of electronic games , focusing on how to give fans the tools and support necessary to achieve it, since companies are often more of a hindrance to it than any help whatsoever.

So, I might be a bit hard to find on specific games. I usually get really into games, play until I feel satisfied and move on, where the cycle starts again. Few games like Red Orchestra 2 and Crusader Kings II have gotten me hooked up enough to keep returning to play and spend more cash. I have been playing Rising Storm 2: Vietnam on Steam and games from GOG lately (also trying games from FitGirl when they aren't DRM free, I ain't paying to license. If buying isn't ownership, stealing isn't theft).

Finally, as I hope you have already realized, I can handle myself well when writing in English, even though my spoken English is hit or miss. The same for my own mother tongue actually. ( ) So, I avoid using my mic but I can usually understand what people tell me in English and I know some bits of Spanish, since I speak PT-BR.
