The story of San Andreas takes place in late 1992 and revolves around gang member Carl "CJ" Johnson, who returned to Los Santos after a long season in JAIL. CJ noticed that his family and former gangster, the Globe Street family, were utterly devastated. As the game progresses, CJ defeats the gang and gradually reveals what was behind his mother's murder as he explores his own business adventures
