The games are nice, and if you only wanted to buy the revised version for multiplayer, I sincerely understand why you're disappointed. Minus the rather large size for the two games together, I appreciate their addition of achievements and the like. This is a faithful remaster, and I do not at ALL blame the company for what, in the end, is not their fault for a lack of players.

Editing the review after a few minutes, to add some clarity.

This game released when I was five years old. It is one of the first games I remember playing as a child, over, and over, and over. On PS2 first with my Uncle, then PS2 on my own, and then the family computer, when I was eight. And now, I get to play it again. On my own computer, at the age of 24. I am not obsessed with FPS or graphics or whatever, so I admit I'm not a technical dude.

I love this game, and I am happy it got a makeover. I don't think it is right to expect so much for a game so core to our childhoods. If we review bomb the re-releases of games we love because we didn't get everything we wanted, then I don't know what else to say but we'll never get remasters of older Star Wars games again. I don't want that. Be kind, and be understanding, and let the good win out for once, and for our future as Star Wars fans. Please.

Early Access Review
A very good game that brings into perspective of front line combat for German soldiers (and German minorities!) in the first world war. I'd recommend it now when it is in early access, to give support for the developers to make the game better, and to expand the story to Germany's defeat in 1918. I cannot recommend the game enough to someone who wants a semi-historical view of the First World War, and am very happy that the developers (which I assume are Germans) want to properly portray it.

The game in my opinion as a history teacher shows off a lot of the problems of the German cause from 1914-16, which I am sure they will faithfully reproduce the equipment, manpower, and ration shortage that hit increasingly in 1917, and the final year of the war in 1918.

A nice game with a story about extreme xenophobia and the danger of reactionary politics.

I bought this game as a joke for a few dollars, and expected it to be a cash-grab knockoff click game.

I was wrong. There are bits of lore sprinkled into the game, and refreshingly, those who made the game seemed to actually put time and effort into it to research the ideas of the parties you're able to choose from. This is a nice little game, with some replay value due to the different parties and approaches you can take to it.

I personally see this as a smaller and much more simplified version of the game Suzerain.

"It's a vibe." - The homies.

All around good game, good story, good graphics, and good music. It makes me sad, happy, and reflective at the same time. The story it tells is tragic, and beautiful at the same time. The characters are complex, relatable, and really lets you relate to them. I have no regrets about this game, and I wish there was more of it.

A rather simple and straightforward game, with an interesting story. The events make you feel connected to the world as a whole.

This game I can say has given me countless hours of enjoyment with friends and alone. The DLCs are for sure pricey but overall I sincerely love this game and am always glad that the devs have paid so much attention to it. Viva Stellaris, five years on and it has only gotten better!

An amazing game. The concept, a Judge of a French Revolutionary Tribunal, is great alone. Yet the way it is handled just makes it better. The story holds back nothing, and the brutality of the French Revolution is portrayed perfectly. It explains its rise as a noble democratic revolt, its proletarian dictatorship, and the reaction. Well worth the price.

An amazing strategy game for anyone who dabbles in the genre. I prefer it with the Kaisserreich mod. All in all, the developers of both the game and aforementioned mod work very hard to keep the game as enjoyable as possible.
