Got 10+ minutes in to answering questions and the next question populated blank. Box outline, no words. Answer box outline, no answers. I had to do a reset and the game has no save features. Not really wanting to start over if glitches are a possibility…

Cute game, reminds me of old Harvest Moon, except you're a cat and get married and have kittens. Good amount of tasks, overarching story, and lots of achievements (not impossible ones either). Would recommend.

This was a fabulous follow up to the original. You don't need to know much from the first title in the franchise, but if you've played it, you'll get some of the references. Kind of like Legend of Zelda. That being said, I could not put this game down. The scenery is gorgeous (I'm a huge Ghibli fan) and the story was exactly as it should have been. I am so happy with how this game turned out on every level.

My favourite way to play controller-heavy Steam games. As stated by Steam, you basically have to have a wired connection. I tried it without and the lag and freezing was so infuriating, I called the electrician to come and put in a wired line. But, now that it is hooked up, I love it. You have to have Steam running on your main computer, and the Steam Link basically just opens Big Picture and off you go. It's kind of like a (mostly) wireless PC-TV projector hook-up. You can look through your available games and initiate installs from the TV, the interface is easy, and you can log in to any available/discoverable computer on the same internet or home group. I would not recommend the Steam Controller, but that is for a different review. Love the XBox controller.

EDIT: I have recently re-picked-up this game now that coop has come out and patches have been released. It was a bit buggy at first as I wanted to play with an XBOX 1 controller and had to program it myself, but since then, it has been incredibly fun. All my friends are playing and now we can play together. All the positives from my previous review still stand and now the negatives are obsolete. Definitely pick up this game.

I hesitantly recommend this game. I went into this thinking that it would just be a Harvest Moon rip-off. And while it has many similarities, there is also much more to do. There is more story and more villagers and more to do each day. That being said, it is also up to you (much like Harvest Moon) to simply figure out how everything works. Now, on to why I am hesitant. Fishing is a nightmare, much too hard. But my main complaint is that the last two times I've played, after about a half an hour, my command buttons stop working (in this case, K and L, but they are programmable to any two keys). I am not sure if this is better if I use a controller, but thus far, this has been really disheartening. It forces me to rage quit after a half hour and then it is usually a week before I convince myself to pick it up again. I hope something is released to fix this so I can give it a whole-hearted recommendation. Is this game worth playing? Yes. Is it frustrating? Yes. Feels like it needs a good patch.

This is somewhat of a hard review for me to write. Do I recommend this game? In some ways, yes! I love the game. I love it too much. I've been involved with it from Day 1 back on Kickstarter. I love the art and the premise and I feel like playing it every day.

However, here are the reasons that I have uninstalled this game with a heavy heart:

I've played several games of Armello, some multiplayer and some single player (Note: more than what Steam quotes, as I have a different version from Kickstarter). The major flaws at this point are evident. One, in every single game I have been able to finish, the game has been won by the Prestige Leader. Every other victory condition is unbelievably hard to attain and I have never seen it done. As noted in a previous review, getting stuck in an endless cycle of dying and restarting is rampant and extremely difficult to break out of, which leads to the game timing out before anyone can achieve anything. In literally every game I have played, I have set out with the intention of winning with Spirit Stones, and while I have no problem getting enough of them, getting to the king is impossible with this endless cycle of dying.

Now, onto more clerical problems. In each game I have played (literally every one), something or a lot of things have gone wrong with the running of the game. In two or three, my Gold counter has gotten stuck at a certain number and I have no idea how much I have to work with. I don't know if it is logging my newly acquired Gold, but when I try to use a card, it will always tell me I cannot afford it, despite sometimes saying I have 12 Gold even. I have run into a couple of games where it will freeze so to speak and the characters are just in a constant loop of "fighting," but the game does not progress. This has been documented by two of my Steam friends as well. Two or three times, I have had friends kicked off the server and the game has been restarted automatically. The gameplay and music/sound effects often lag (like, almost always) and are choppy (even with turning down the resolution, shutting down all other processes on my computer, and changing to a more powerful computer). I have had a couple instances when playing multiplayer that a countdown clock will never appear on the player screen, or we will be stuck in an "all-ready" screen with nothing happening.

While attempting to play with my friends, they are asking: "Is this game in early access!?" Unfortunately, it kind of feels that way. The minute a patch is released to fix these gameplay issues, I will be re-installing this game, because it is honestly my love right now. My recommendation is that you will want this game. Hard. But right now, maybe it needs a pass for a little while.

Terraria is the more casual, less physics-oriented brother of Minecraft. I love the feel of it and the atmosphere is great.

First off, ignore the hours played; I have played this game for over 100 hours directly from their server. Unfortunately, since their server maintenance on August 19, 2015, gamers in Canada have been being disconnected constantly and experiencing lag issues. Very disappointing. OGPlanet had better fix this ASAP; people are rioting on the forums. Don't bother playing until they fix it. I'll change my recommendation when they do; this is a cute/fun game.
