After playing it for more than 600 hours, getting to 90% achievement completion and writing two guides, one in spanish and one in english, about FAQ and supporting other players with their issues with the game, I can only say...

It's bloody awesome.

My first contact with Halo: Combat Evolved was at a young age and I was stuck with Custom Edition for years before being able to get to play Halo 2 in a friend's Xbox, and then I played Halo 3 and 4 after the 2009 Halo hype had died (Which got me bullied a lot let me tell you). Getting Halo on PC has been like a godsend, being the first big trending game that I owned on my library. Sometimes you don't appreciate enough what you're getting until you look at other point of view.

The work since its release up to this point has been very efficient, with stuff such as uncapped FPS still in the works, official modding support coming soon, and many other things that get me very excited. The troubleshooting I've been doing with people over the months is nothing grand and has left me a lot of things to share with others.

The Master Chief Collection is what it is, a collection of old games ported to modern hardware, which we needed badly, like Sgt. Johnson once said: "This stuff is your history!". Well this is my history, and something that I will keep playing for a very, very long time, even after I get all the achievements. Halo is THE FPS I grew up with, and I ain't replacing it for any other game anytime soon, they just don't sell themselves like Halo did back then.

What is there to be said about this game that hasn't been said before? This is an emotion train ready to take you wherever it wants you to go. The game play is not short, although sometimes confusing. I'd definitely recommend it if you have spare money in your wallet and it's on sale.

I definitely recommend Opposing Force; in fact, I recommend it more than Half-Life itself (Of course, you need to play it first if you want to understand the game). I feel like this game had a lot more story behind it, but that is not the only good thing. The enemies, the new weapons, the maps, THE MUSIC. Half-Life 3 can wait, I would love to see a Half-Life 2: Opposing Force game. This game is envolved in mystery, and has way more action than the original Half-Life.

Do not think twice and buy this game. You will not regret what you play.
