The 2020s have been plagued by overpriced, incomplete, and overall a collection of not-so-good games. Dave the Diver sets itself apart in all categories with no hesitation. This is one of the few games that drew me like fish to water (pun intended).

Not often that I regularly go back to a game daily without hesitation. Games good and only in early access!

Devs dropped a day of performance fix guide to bring FPS to a *lovely* ~50fps average in game. Main menu FPS is just fine, about 105fps, it's advised to wait for graphics to load in the menu first before doing anything. In game - just like CS1 - performance decreases as your city gets more complicated; however, in CS2 this drop in frames as your city develops is worse, not to mention slight camera teleportation and the occasional zoom in/out stutter. Frames drop down to around 15fps when I try to plop down a ploppable as well at just 3k pop. Can't yet recommend this game, ideally the devs will patch this by the holidays at which I can turn the thumbs down to a thumbs up. Once these performance issues are resolved, game will be a solid 7+/10 on that fix alone.
