Haven't played too much POE1, but this game is easier to get into and feels easier to make your own build at least until early endgame. The visuals are amazing, and the optimization is astounding. I have a rig thats about 5 years out of date and I still consistently get 100+ fps and havent crashed.

It has some fundamental flaws that carried over from POE1 (random one shots) and new ones they created that will hopefully be fixed (map sustain, how punishing it is to die, trial challenge level).

Overall very solid game, and while I'll keep playing it through early access I know I'll be excited to return for a new league which isnt something I could say for POE1.

Very fun roguelike, definitely worth the money. Deserves to be a lot more popular than it currently is.

This is a fun game and its free to play so its worth it to try.

Pay-to-win is negligible unless you dump thousands of dollars into the game which will only provide as much benefit as the economy of the auction house allows. Aside from that you can buy small upgrade materials in t1 and t2 that will save you a day on the journey up a tier. You can not buy tier 3 upgrade materials from the shop however so the true end-game is only pay-to-win for whales. Not that it matters as the position of other people in PVE doesn't effect you at all.

The PVP in this game is amazing and is equalized so literally 0 effect of money on it and you can start it at level 26 and be the same power level as someone who is 50 with all the raids cleared.

The raids are fun and require teamwork so they can be challenging to pug, so far in tier 1 and 2 at least you can outgear the content very fast however which is slightly unfortunate but probably not a problem most of the playerbase will encounter.

TLDR: Endgame Raids/Dungeons/PVP are all incredibly fun and the game is worth a try. Visuals are amazing.

Its very hard to get xp for the battlepass and you basically cant get cosmetics at all without the battle pass, there should definitely be more cosmetics you can earn with some in-game currency and you should get xp per match/kills/achievements (all of those). Also we should be offered the ability to start with the DMR instead of the battle rifle. Other than that seems good.

Also would be nice to have a flood/infected mode.
