this is the game that's taken 'extraction shooter' to a form beyond sweaty high-stress micromanagement, griefing and paranoia

it's genuinely fun and so far I've encountered totally reasonable friendly players. runs very well. atmosphere is great.
this isn't my bag of tea normally, but I'm having a blast.

I love this game but I don't think I'll ever get past the second boss, unless I get extremely lucky with RNG .. the only guide I can find on youtube is just using the Golden Gun to cheese them, and still losing a ton of HP .. I've almost 100%'d Gungeon so I don't think I'm bad at games like this.. it's sad, there's a lot of content .. tank girl is just unfair
i don't want to give it a negative review, I want to see more from this developer and I like the art and humor, but if I can't experience 90% of the game, and I've seen at least one other person have the same issue with the same boss ..

really fun gameplay loop and just a good hectic time
mostly reviewing to help offset the crybabies who see a one-time loading screen for a third-party software as a game-breaking breach of trust.

I just wanna say, please google "Dragon's Dogma 2 optimization"
set the game to high priority in task manager, and download the updated nvidia dlss if you're using it, and the game becomes playable even in settlements/cities. Not GREAT FPS in town, but definitely playable and I'm not mad about it at all. On an i7 7700k and RTX2070S, high/max settings 1440p, 60 fps or higher in most areas, 30-50 in towns mostly, depends on the density
