Pretty pricey for a toy. Feels underdeveloped (and is basically abandoned at this point) and i'll be honest, it didn't feel any easier than last time i tried just using FL studio.

It's a good game, but the performance is abysmal.

Game released with a magnitude of bugs that were always there during early access, not fixed yet, seemingly not getting fixed anytime soon.

One of those bugs involves enemies spawns being repeatable on the 3rd level. This means that if you cross an invisible line all enemies respawn with full health right on top of you. I reported this on Discord and on the bug report thread here on Steam and got ignored on both.

Soundtrack's good though :)

The best tech/factory game out there IMO, and with an insane art direction that makes anything you build look incredible.

If you bounced off of Factorio or Minecraft tech modpacks because they're too unintuitive, grindy, stressful or whatever else, you might find Satisfactory a lot easier to get into.

If you don't enjoy SotE you deserve to be sissified

I played this game when the first demo became available nearly 3 years ago, and since then, gameplay hasn't seen a single objective improvement or even anything that adds meaningful depth. Only thing i can think of is some new moves for some enemies.

You don't get good combat, it's very primitive with annoyances such as being unable to stunlock the most basic enemy from fully restoring their health, and aside from that new annoyance it's been this way, untouched, since 2021.

You don't get good RPG systems since Lore and Lockpicking are mechanics around just rolling dice (no minigames/engaging mechanics/puzzles here), and charisma checks are a very arcadey and predictable "you get the thing or you don't get the thing", without real choices as far as i know. Also left this way untouched for years.

Exploration is especially awkward with arcadey floating pickups in the middle of nowhere, while buildings sometimes have no meaningful loot, and most of the open world is visibly very empty with meaningful landmarks VERY far apart from each other.

The game has been but a skeleton of one for years and judging from the updates, the developer only seems concerned in increasing the playtime. Combine that with just how deeply rooted most of these issues are and i just don't think this game is getting much better before release. I just can't recommend it, and it's really sad given how pretty the visuals are.
