It feels like Dark Souls, if Dark Souls obnoxiously blasted you with Catherine gameplay.
Also their faces are ugly and that is a serious annoyance.

too many changes from Crysis 1 to Crysis 2 that adversely affect playability for me.
- running with energy is no longer truly superhuman level of comically fast (why even be a protag in a super suit if you're going to take that away?)
- why take away the delta difficulty? it was such a good idea from the first game. meaningless removal of a difficulty that has what it takes to have been a staple for the series.
- this game still runs like ♥♥♥♥

This game was just a tech demo for the year it originally released (2007). This story is NOT immersive, and no one should suffer with playing this. I thoroughly enjoyed Crysis 3 multiplayer beta back in early 2013 on the Xbox 360. It was a blast. The first games in beloved series are always honored, though, for they serve as the footstools for more modern successes.

I got to the last fight on the aircraft carrier and it was so pitiful I deleted the game right there. After seeing the vomit-inducing level of no effort that was put into the nuclear plant onboard, my evaluation of the game was down the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. As someone who has actually served as a Navy nuclear reactor operator, this is hilariously bad.

this game is so cool. if you like boss rushes and mindblowing environments with pleasant ambient storytelling cutscenes between each boss, then this is for you.

A nice experience!
That aside, I regret to say that I couldn't muster will to justify to myself that it was worth 25 USD...
I refunded the game since I did absolutely everything there was available to do, save for finding all the coins.
I would like to support the creator of Spice and Wolf, but this isn't the way to do it.
If this were a 5 USD game, I would absolutely keep it, but no...

Do not recommend playing this unless you ♥♥♥♥♥ out for tedious and barely interactive yet calm, atmospheric "games". This was made as a kickstarter campaign, and it shows, especially at the end, with a load of unrelatable, shoehorned backer randomness.
