So this is a cute game, and I do like seeing more environmental cleanup games. However this frankly just feels like a tutorial rather than a game, like it is a great foundation, but that's really it, this is a foundation of a game. Like if you want to toss the creator a few dollars and to enjoy a bit of environmental cleanup, go for it. But that's really all there is, and it's barely an hour in length.

Early Access Review
This game is far scarier than it really has any right to be. The puzzles are fun and add even more tension to the horror.

I don't normally enjoy these, but when you're so high you can taste sounds this is a great time.

Class is great, but we don't have anything in the commissary for it.

This genuinely needs a lot more cooking. The decisions range from cute to why. And I softlocked myself twice leading to a game over, so if having to play the game perfectly is the goal... no thanks.

This is fun, not sure about the optimization issues others are experiencing however.

Overall this is an interesting project. Would be nice if the creep could send units against rather than just tendrils, as the ranged pin creep is easy to abuse by using the green creep to hem it in until you can just take out the pink creep in a quick push.

I can see what it should have been, however you can tell the Devs ran out of time and money and just slapped this together as a "finished product."

Alright I have finished Waiting: Fountain of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. This is the least exciting game I have ever played, ever. The fact this took a team to make has inspired me to actually start making games. Because if this is what a team can make, it can't be much worse than what a single person can do. This is the most tedious and mindless game I have ever played.

Also I am not joking about the Tedium, you want to harvest some sticks from a trick, press a button, load up a menu, then select what you want to harvest, wait for the loading bar, and there you have harvested. It is purely ui based. Want to cut down that tree, press a different button for a different menu to pop up, press another button for another loading bar. Want to craft something, open your crafting menu, or go to the prerequisite box of crafting. Enter the menu as most games have, but then you need to ensure you have the correct tool on you, then prepare for another loading bar.

Now want to know how much more annoying this loading bar gameplay is, this is the gameplay for everything aside from combat and a few gatherables. Want to read a book, loading bar, sleep, loading bar, travel to another set of islands, actual loading screen. The ship progression is also pretty nonsensical. The 3rd boat is the best for exploration, while the two final ships... I'm not joking one is a key, it's not a ship to actually use seriously, it's a key. The other is a floating base, but it's useless as one since by that point you are basically done.

Also you get a ton of helpful and useful things, at the end of the game when there is no point to even use them, I'm not joking, by the time you get actually useful things you're done the game.

This game is just a bunch of confusing ideas slammed together, people trying to find ways to be realistic and boring. And the difficulty is purely in the tedium of the game itself. There is no real difficulty unless you just want to spend more time doing things, that's it, how much time do you want to spend is the difficulty.
