Great games. Builds on the prior legacy version of the game. Do not need to play the original hollow knight as the story are independent from each other. The game map is larger in this version of the game.

While this game may look like a horror game, it is not. This is an adventure game which consists of a rich story about a character suffering from psychosis while on a journey to retrieve her lost love's soul. The music really set the atmosphere and am amazing on how good transitions between exploration and combat scenes. Combat was a bit lacking at the start as you progress the story but get your fare share towards the last third of the game. At the time of this review, the game is priced at $14.99 (50% off) and it is worth it's full cost even at $30.

Game wasn't boring, but rather uninteresting. The story was very lose. I lost interest after very quickly, as soon as the first chapter. I kept playing and completed chapter 3 before quiting. If you are looking for a game similiar to this which has a story, unique and similar mechanics, I would recommend playing Little Nightmares instead.

Game was much better than I anticipated. I'm not much of a point and click adventure kind of person, but this has more interaction than the usual genre. If there was a sequel, I would probably pick it up as well.

I've had this game in my wish list since it was released as I know it was released by the creator of "The Stanley Parable" by Davey Wreden, and I finally got this game via humble bundle.

I originally thought it was just a series of short demo games which I always found fun in a way to see what ideas go through a designer's struggle of creating games. What I was not expecting is a mix of what felt to be half documentry and half game play from a friend. The entire game was captivating and it provided a very unique and wonderful experience. Furthermore, I found the ambience and music very pleasent and fit the theme extremely well.

And now for some spoilers/rant:
Even though I feel like we're all Codas (as my interpritation is Coda being a fictional character), I'm hoping there's a future update of the game for Davey Wreden to provide closure for the game as it ends in a cliffhanger. That being said, I'm also against it because the closure as leaving this gap... leaving this void.... it just leaves you with much stronger feelings than any sappy happy ending would ever get you.

I don't like walking simulators, but the interaction you have in this game plus the story really makes it fun. The dialogue and twists really made me enjoy the game much more than I thought.
