They have fixed the performance issues quite quickly after the release, after that I had no issues.
Game itself is aesthetically gorgeous, the world seen from both layers is a refreshing idea in the genre, and the enemies are challenging like any souls-like.

480 seconds (8 minutes) and recover 240 seconds (4 minutes) every turn for the ranked is incredibly stupid.
it is just absurdly boring to watch a game from MD right now because of how much wait is needed, and sometimes it just looks like a single-player game without interactions where looks like you are the bot.

The solution would be to drastically reduce the timer for ranked matches (keep that high only for tournaments). Something like 300 seconds (5 minutes) and you recover only 60 seconds in your turn if your timer is below 60 seconds remaining as it happens in Duel Links (DL you start with 220 and recover 20 seconds if your timer is below 20 seconds) could make the experience much better.
