This game just seem incomplete. It just feels like it has too few quest lines than previous Bethesda games.
The vast majority of planets are empty and forgettable, it would have been much better to have had fewer planets and system, but have them actually have stuff on them to find. Enemy ships are also way too hard to find.
The skill tree system out of the box is just... bad. it takes a huge amount of effort to even unlock a single skill to max rank. Given how much increasing xp it takes to rank up for another skill point, it is virtually impossible to rank up enough to unlock skills to a good degree. (without modding, of course)
I'm sure evnetually the issues I've have with starting quests will be taken care of eventually, but did they even extensive QC test this game? It seems like they did not.
Now I do like the base and ship building, but as I alluded to earlier, they just seem not refined enough. part snapping is somewhat erratic and hard to do in some cases. And the base building should have allowed to be more expansive, as I wanted to build small towns poptulated with NPCs, not tiny outposts with a handful of companions.
I'd give this game a 6/10. But only buy it if you enjoy Bethesda gameplay.

Overall, I very much like this game. I can build big mostly realistic cities, and with a few mods its even better. Now I do with there were a few more larger road types, as I have to fill that niche with mods. As well as traffic not acting quite correct at times.

It has potential, but it needs to have more ship customization to be really great. Such as the ability to build superstructures manually deck by deck.

Its okay, but could have been so much better. As its fairly typical of far cry games. ie, enemies spawn in odd ways, even just after you clear locations, ect. But I do enjoy it. 7/10

The game itself is okay, if a little buggy. Story and setting are fairly interesting, if a bit repetitive. I'd only buy it if it were on sale, and only if you liked the previous games.

Its a pretty good game overall, one of my favorites. Your choices can result in multiple endings. Not much I dislike about the game, other than the recaps every time you load a save. Which there are mods to address, athough the game is a little hard to mod without breaking.

Better with mods, but with a Bethesda title, that is a given. Overall, expect glitches, crashes and random weird issues, but oddly its one of my most played games.

Better than I thought it would be, but the deep water still terrifes me.

A bit of a learning curve to adapt to, but a challenging and fun game to play. It even is updated regularaly, which in my mind is always a good thing.
