The first VR game I bought when I got a headset, because I heard this was great.

From the moment I started, my jaw never left the floor. What an amazing, immersive experience. Maybe not the best VR game to start with, because it took a moment to find my sea legs...but once I started to get the hang of it, I was hooked.

The game rewards out of the box thinking in such a satisfying way. I loved coming to a new area, with the easy path clearly marked, but being able to think "...I'm going to climb up that drainpipe, shimmy along those windows and do some parkour over those buildings...", and usually I'd find secrets and unlockables at the end of my experimenting.

You owe it yourself to pick up a cheap second Quest 2 (at least) and playing this masterpiece, because it's one hell of an experience!

(Also...the sequel, BoneLabs, is a bit disappointing...stick with this one)

"Your spray and pray bullets got me? No way, you were flashed!"
"Pick me up, pick me up!! Damn it, why you'd pick me up, it's not clear!?"

Et cetera.

This is a really fun game...one of my favourites, in fact, and one I play regularly. It's fun because, well, I'm a lousy shot, and this game lets you utilise many different tactics. Despite having worse aim than a stormtrooper, I'm often one of the top scorers in the match with a healthy K/D ratio. You can flank, get creative with bouncing grenades and use crack shot players hubris against them. Nothing more satisfying then laying a trap for an overconfident player chasing you (oh, but of course you'll be called all manner of names for tricking them).

The problem with this game is the community. There are a lot of players you'll meet that are very sporting, that value teamwork and when you do, you'll have a great time. Often however, you'll be on some servers and, my goodness, the WHINGING. You'll be lambasted for pretty much everything, and they'll have all these silly little rules, that are enforced to a degree that makes it feel very childish. In one instance, I was called a "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dumbass" by several people for securing an objective, on a full server, because...well, I dunno, they don't do that kind of thing on that server, I guess. I've also been called a hacker several times...but only when I'm winning of course, not in the next match when my K/D ratio is in the toilet.

Great game when played with friends, though! :)

I spent a good 15 minutes chasing a stray apples pallet down a steep hill, after it flew off my pallet fork.
