This was a great little gem of a game. Cute rhythm game that surprised me with its great music and well crafted levels. Recommended!

If you have played any of the previous games, this game is still along the same lines.
Story is still about searching for the "null" element, but this time you are searching into a dollhouse. There isn't a lot of urgency in this game, the element isn't threatening to your life as it was in previous installments... The eerie atmosphere though remains
Graphically the game is beautiful, as were the previous ones.
Regarding the difficulty, it's more like the first room game. There are no optional harder riddles to solve like in Room 3, you just progress the game until its end.
Unlike the previous games you solve puzzles across many rooms (of the dollhouse) at the same time (go back and forth between them a lot). You may be solving 3 rooms at the same time, complete one of them and unlock a new one right after.
The game was very enjoyable. For me personally, I would put it somewhere between the room and the room 3 in terms of enjoyment (The room > the room 4> the room 3 > the room 2). If i had to pinpoint why, I would say because this game also has you looking at small ornate objects and details a lot, similarly to the first game, which i prefer to more generic bigger room puzzles like the ones in the room 2. But that's subjective! Also, because of the number of smaller rooms you go through, the pacing is probably the best of the series!
Game can be solved in about 4 hours depending on speed (hints are ofc available). It's more expensive than previous games and not much lengthier so maybe wait for a sale if that's an issue for you however for me it was worth it.

All in all, I recommend the game to anyone who has liked the previous games or similar games like The House of Da Vinci
New players I would advise to start with the first game of the series.

A very charming puzzle game. The difficulty was well curved and it only got hard after the 65th level (80 levels in total) . About 6 hours of content

pros:
> very charming
> variety in levels and "characters" that you interact with
> good level design and unique mechanics
> good curving difficulty
cons:
> not much of a story
> no achievements :(

I really loved chuchel! Here are some main points:
-Plays a bit differently than other games from Amanita design because you move from scene to scene, like mini episodes in the story. I liked that becaused it made me feel like i was progressing at a good pace
-"story" is silly, kind of reminds you of scrat in the movie "Ice age" chasing the acorn. The protagonist, like scrat, is very funny and lovable.
-You can revisit specific segments from the menu without replaying the whole game. Useful if you are achievement hunting
-Puzzles are easy most of the time
-Kind of short but definitely memorable

All in all it's a colourful, funny and cute puzzle game if you are looking for some silly fun. It's a bit short so if you are unsure wait for a sale

"Shovel knight - Shovel of hope" is a challenging and fun classic looking precise platformer. The Treasure Trove edition of the game was given for free to early buyers of the base game, and includes 3 additional games (so 4 games in total) that can be also bought as standalones: Specter of torment, King of cards & Shovel Showdown.
First two are new levels/story with different characters and 3rd one is a fighting game
There is also a dlc called 'Plague of Shadows' that has the same levels as 'Shovel of Hope' with a different character (sort of parallel universe)

I have only finished Shovel of hope and I spent ~18-19 hours to do as much as I could and that amounted to only about 13% of achievements
The story was simple but nice and the mechanics were interesting and tight. You can buy upgrades (health, armor and power) as well as interesting new powers as you progress. There are secrets, hidden areas and tricks. You can progress without them so you don't NEED guides but they can help you maximize your gold
Game can be frustrating at times, especially in some very difficult 'gem' stages but those are optional for extra gold. Nevertheless, it's not a casual game

In conclusion: I recommend Shovel Knight: Treasure trove to anyone in a mood for a challenging classic platformer. It inludes 4 games plus a "parallel universe" type dlc so there are many hours of content.
The game is very pretty and polished, the mechanics are interesting and the controls are tight.

Definitely my favorite game of the series! Took me about 3 hours to complete it the first time.
It's basically a game where you solve puzzles and unlock "boxes". The game is very beautiful , detailed and kind of mysterious. The satisfaction from solving puzzles is instant as you advance immediately further and the puzzles are very intricate (and harder than the sequel's but in a good way).
Only negatives are, there isn't much story there (very obscure) and there is only one save file
