Had the game awhile since it came with a card I bought back then.
I keep trying to get into it, because I had an Indiana Jones game as a kid that I loved.
Sure, it's pretty....but it feels too linear for 2025, which is a shame because I really would like to see how it plays out...but I can't get beyond where I'm at without sighing and knowing I'd have more fun playing something else. Who knows? Maybe the world opens up some as the game progresses... maybe ten years from now I'll find out...or I'll just YouTube it and be thankful I got it for "free" (nothing is ever free, folks - the charge is factored in somewhere).

Linear games are just movies I have to hold a button through.

I know I'm probably in the minority, but....I can't stand the way they developed the character, the movement feels janky, the novelty wears off SUPER fast....I reinstalled this thinking I'd give it another shot, and it's still a big no for me.

Very fun game with lots of different ways to play (especially with certain DLC's) and build your own empire or build/retain an existing one. It has one heck of a learning curve, but it definitely worth it. It can seem VERY overwhelming at first. Don't try to learn it all at once. Learn it in sections, play the tutorial, don't be afraid to mess it up and start over.

Changing my review to "No" because it is now crashing every 15 minutes.

This game is absolutely fantastic. Loved this one as much as KCD1 and would highly recommend it.
Give it time, train, learn the combat and it eventually gets pretty easy. Worth it!

Still can't land troops off of ships in the Italian campaign. Paratroopers stuck and useless. Cost me the whole "stop the bombing of Mante Casino" mission. Whole two days of gaming down the freaking drain. Definitely going to be a minute before I play this again.
