really cute and whimsical deck builder but its facade covers a deceptively difficult roguelike/puzzle play style that doesnt feel exhausting.
as with all deck building its about minmax and trying to weigh options with what to take or prune out, but this takes a step further by rewarding you with filling the deck where its usually better to keep it trim and precise by offering a variety of benefits. its been really fun to find the perfect balance. i also really like the grid system approach to the game and how enemies and abilities feed into it.
in all, its a slept on title but man, it holds up pretty well in a saturated genre.
