Don't be fooled – this isn't really a superhero story, but rather a workplace drama. And it's excellent.

My only complaint: I hate episodic releases. It can makes sense – preventing people from getting spoiled by those with more time on their hands and allowing. Unfortunately the first 2 chapters are the shortest and have the least impact anyway. For the first few weeks, there was also an annoying graphical bug that'd tint pre-rendered cutscenes green – which is a majority of the game.

Fun gameplay. Chill music. Dislike the UI/menus, certain monetization choices (largely due to some starting cards just paling in comparison to cards you can pull/craft/buy), and the new-player experience.

Enjoyable but makes me want to play other card games.

Low player count (~20-40 average at time of review) obviously makes the experience a bit loppy. Ranked play is a bit weird with such a low population. But I'd appreciate if custom matches provided some progress towards unlocking cards/heroes, even at an extremely reduced rate. It'd make more sense than me queuing at the same time as a friend.

Fun and faithful remake. Relative to previous SH games, combat has never felt better. Though the combat can get a touch stale at some points, on your first playthrough new enemies and weapons are interspersed in a way where it stays fairly interesting when it counts.

Performance could be better. But like many newer AAA games, you're not going to miss much by turning most of your settings down to the lowest. Beautiful game with great ambiance. Music is solid as always, and enemy design is neat.

Pacing felt a bit awkward at times. Each segment feeling just a bit too long. I beat the game in ~14 hours, although the average completion time is "17-22 hours". I skipped over a couple secrets, and there's 8 endings total. I don't think you're going to "miss out" by playing through the game a bit faster than the average player.

If you really enjoy the game – it's probably worth doing the New Game Plus and going for another ending. Regardless: I believe a single playthrough stands well on its own, and is indicative of the quality of the game's optional content.

Gifted to me. Big rat fan. Game featured rat. Did my best to only shake as necessary (to hear all the funny dialogue). Went in blind – no regrets.

Lil' buggy at times. Door wouldn't open and interacted with an oven through a solid wall. Whoops. Nothing game-breaking; will probably get bug fixes.

Neat. Short. Experience. Rats.

There's a certain charm to the Xbox 360-era games, and it definitely feels like one. It's not the greatest port, but it does work. Couple bugs, silly AI issues... nothing truly game-breaking. Some optional config options to improve the experience.

To fix resolution issues (better widescreen support), increase FOV, and use Windowed mode – I followed the guides available at PC Gaming Wiki[www.pcgamingwiki.com]. I only changed a couple key bindings. Sprinting on Left Shift, throwing Glaive on Mouse Button 5, and exploding the glaive on Mouse Button 4.

Story beats are a tad predictable, but at least it's an interesting universe – even if you don't get to experience more of it.

I feel like the puzzles could be better. The idea of having similar-looking objects is fine, but there's just too many, too often. The puzzles weren't that hard, but we spent 30 minutes looking around before finding the book. :X

Funny and most accurate YouTuber simulator game. Not a lot of content on release, but definitely enough to play around with for a bit. Best played with a full group, to maximize the chances of striking comedic gold. The more opportunities for you to bounce bits off other people, the better.

This is the kind of chess game I would pitch to my friend, and he'd tell me I should never become a game dev. Jokes on him, I think he likes this cursed game.

Only if it's on sale. (I did not buy this on sale.)
