Struggling through this one in a way that I didn't with TES or Fallout - I work away from home and take regular breaks from gaming for a few days as a result, and this doesn't draw me back the same way other Bethesda games do.

My complaints are pretty repetitive to those already on here -

Lots of fast travel - Breaks immersion a lot.
Poorly voices and written characters - Hard to like any of them.
Space fights don't seem very plentiful or risky, they lack a lot.
Quests seem largely collect and return type and not many drag your interest.
Lots of levels reused making exploring basically meaningless.

Gunplay is fine, graphics are quite nice, ship customisation is cool (though doesn't keep me that engaged for long) - Not got to try outpost building yet but it seems largely unnecessary, to be honest.

Falls neatly into the 'This VR title is basically a demo/ gimmick' category, sadly.
Gameplay is fun, and for that I'll take my hat off. But the issue is more length.

There are some other modes and survival-y type things that don't hugely interest me, but even when I've tried them, I have done the main missions and that is mainly what draws me to a game. All in all, I look back on my playtime. 1.6 hours apparently. I have genuinely played demos that have lasted longer. I can't recommend a game that costs more per hour of fun than it does to go to the pub.

Let's be generous and do some real British maths here.

Round up (GENEROUSLY) to 2 hours of fun. £20 pricetag. £10 per hour.

£10 per hour buys me 2.5 pints of lager, which is probably about right for a semi-casual drink out.

Now, I get it's COVID-19 and I can't exactly be at the pub, but I feel robbed if I don't get at least an hour of fun per £ spent on a game. AAA title? I expect 50 hours of fun for my £50. At £20 and under 2 hours, this doesn't even come close.

Maybe I'm being too critical, but there is not enough content here for the pricetag for me, and it just goes to further 'gimmickify' VR games. Good content, but devs - please give more for the pricetag, for everyone's sake.

Basically a revamped warband, but with so much further development to come. Slightly wonky launch, but it's getting far better already.

Honestly, I wanted to give the CoD franchise another try after being pretty 'meh' (at best) at all titles since MW3.

This is not what I was hoping for.

The gameplay is not good, the historical accuracy is not good, the performance is not good, the graphics are not good.

Essentially you have a poorly optimised console port. Frankly, they've hurt themselves and sales by releasing this shambles of a beta.

This whole game is about choices.

The only issue is no matter what you pick the story is the same. There is vertually no change from a very linear, predictible storyline.

Not worth IMO. Very little fun to be had and essentially no replayability.

Literally one of the best games ever. ♥♥♥♥ opinions, this is fact.

It's a ♥♥♥♥♥ to learn. 550hours in and I'm still not perfect with some of the finer aspects of the trade system>
There is always more to learn, but don't let that put you off.

Every playthrough is different. Even if you play the same nation multiple times it will always be different.

The achievments range from easy to almost impossible, and collecting them is great fun.

I have all of the DLC which is a must because sadly paradox have a habit of milking the community by putting features that should be in the main game as DLC.
That being said, one of the best purchases I've ever made. 550 hours in at time of writing and I'm still just as keen to play it as I was when I finally understood the game.

Expect to spend time to learn the basics. Watch youtube videos, get friends to help etc. It's well worth it!

Same thing happens over and over. Dull. Dull. Dull.

Then your game breaks due to a horrific bug.

Worth restarting? No.

Don't buy.
