TL/DR: Absolute garbage!

I stumbled across an article (from a decent game-review site, well at least I thought so then) where this game was prasied like a totally not a mobile game (it is - you can even turn on touch controls) with a stunning graphics (for 2009 maybe) and exciting gameplay (I guess some may find holding W key for 30 seconds "exciting"). Since I haven't palyed any decent racing games recently, I've decided to give it a try. Oh boy! How any living creature with eyes (who is not a potato) could describe this game-like product with those words is beyond my comprehension.

"What would you expect from a freemium game" you ask?
Well, a gameplay maybe. Like ANY gameplay! You are literally can put a stone on your W key, and keep winning every race!

Some decent steering would be nice too. Nothing fancy, just basic stuff like acceleration and braking. NOPE! Braking is for loosers! We have cool drift-button instead! Why would you want to brake anyway? It's not like our tracks have turns!

Any kind of car handling? Licensed cars in racing games usually imply that they would handle... LIKE CARS! Not like some frigging wet soap bars! Mario Cart has better handling than this abomination!

What else can I say?
Completing a race takes about as long as average tiktokers attention span, so at least we know who the target audience is.
Endless menus - you send more time cliking through them, than you do in race.
Yo, dawg! We heard you like to buy stuff, so we put a store inside a store, so you could buy stuff while you buy stuff!

And an absolute cherry on a top of this pile of trash: "gas" tokens! 1 token = 1 race. Your car has 6 tokens. Ran out? Wait until it refils. Or pay more money! "Not a mobile game" my a$$!

Verdict: To call this "game" a dumpster fire, would be an insult to all dumpster fires!

Arrowhead: Nerfs a fun-to-play weapon, making it completely unrelevant.
Players: Hey! We don't like it!
Arrowhead: Oh, ok. We heard you feedback!
Also Arrowhead: Nerfs everything else to the brink of playability.

A fantastic game (yeah, this is so much more than just a mod), that expands the HL universe. Great story, interesting characters, some fun new mechanics - this a delightful dish for a connoisseur! Voice acting is on a very high level! One returning character (don't want to spoil it to anyone) sounds so close to original, that I was sure that developers reached out to the original voice actor, but no - they are just that good!

TL/DR: A must have for Half-Life enthusiasts!

2 player co-op, being the main sellpoint of the game, is uplayable. Don't waste your time, even if you got this game for free.
