If you are a fan of Dungeons and Dragons (5e), I believe you'll love this game. It has a great story that sucks you in, with plenty of side quests for the lore fiends out there, and a clever solution to the inventory issue all loot goblins run into. Some of the dialog is a bit meh, or a bit misplaced (at the time of writing this), but I am sure a patch or two will sort the few small issues there. Game is well worth the price, and even has a respectable amount of replay value.

A decent game for the price, easy to pick up and play, progression is fast...especially if you are a planner. The DLC adds more fun and extra modes to dig into, but entirely necessary for gameplay enjoyment.

Early Access Review
A fun game if you enjoy colony builders/managers with challenging twists scattered around. The learning is a bit frustrating at first, but easy to adapt to after a few tries. A small tip to smooth out the curve some, build burners the instant you can, don't wait until you need to.

Played this as a kid back in the early to mid 90s, loved it then and spent many hours of slaughtering Lovecraftian horrors. Still just as fun as I remember, even the graphics still hold up decently. If ya want a nostalgic shooter that pioneered fps deathmatch, this is a game for you.

Usually, I post review after I've torn through a game's full content or after pouring a couple hundred hours into a game (12hrs at the time of this posting), but this game was immediately fun the moment I started in on it. Bit of a learning curve if you're used to real time strats and tacs, but easily overcome if you take your time when making decisions or planing out your turns. Some missions are tough (and a bit annoying to deal with, but to detail why would be a bit spoilerific), but over all still enjoyable if you like games in the vein of say DnD.

If you played the original when growing up like I did, this is a faithful reimagining in my opinion...with a darker twist and plenty of delicious gore. Many times better than Doom 3, and captures Doomguy's seething and unquenchable rage as you bathe in demon blood and play jumprope with their entrails.

While I acquired the game for free in a giveaway, I still feel it is well worth buying. It has a deliciously immersive lore to go with -everything-, which adds an extra layer of fun to the destruction. The twin stick nature is a little rough to get used to at first if you're a KB&M player like myself, but you quickly get used to it and can lay down all the fire and fury you vehicle has in its loadout.

The soundtrack is also very amazing, the cyberpunk/synthwave tracks make your relentless onslaught all the more fun as you destroy the environment simply because you can. Some missions you can do multiple times with other vehicles, for those who are completionist players like myself.

TL;DR of it, great game, great music, lots of fun.
