Like all Civ games the base game is rather dull, but once you get the rise and fall DLC the game is actually pretty fun.

This game wasn't great 10 years ago, and the expansions didn't really change that.

But 10 years later for some reason this game holds a place in my heart. It's a buggy mess full of glitches but I can easily spend an hour creating some monstrosity.

If you've never played Spore before I reccommend picking it up if you can get it on the cheap.
