I saved up my 3.4 seconds of admiring the scenery per mission to take the time to write a good review. Now back to the game. Seriously, one of those games that changes things in gaming culture.

As a developer, this is very polished code, the server stuff is really due to the fact they sold WAY past their high-end expectations and are therefore racing to deal with overwhelming success.

Looks really good. Plays essentially the same as 1 but with a really good graphical upgrade. Looking forward to new game-play mechanics. Runs smooth as butter and glitch free so far.

Awesome. Imagine Akira Kurosawa meets old kings quest games. I can't believe these guys studied Akira's film style so deeply to create a game around it. I'm looking forward to completing this one!!!!

While I think the game pushes PvP too aggressively (or people are that much of a jerk...yeah probably this) it's a very exciting horror game that really has no peer at this time. Go out and get it...just stay away from other players, they're all bloodthirsty jerks.

Neat game. Really what I wanted from Diablo III that I didn't get. Also, any game that let's you play Necro is ++ in my book.

Negatives: Where I needed to go and do was sometimes had to figure out. A quest arrow or quest pathing system would help a LOT.

132 hours into the game..it's still one of the better looter / action rpg games. Still trying to find something comparable after the the disappointed TL III..

The game has WAY more story than it really deserves. Also, Jerry Smith (from Rick and Morty) narrates....with all the verbal quirks you'd expect. I can imagine that this is his "side project" we don't yet know about.

I was thinking this wasn't the case be there is a cookie in the deep gulf from the show, just to hit you over the head we're in the R&M universe.

Also, killing humans by dragging them screaming from "safe" areas is just cathartic.

Game is dead now...servers constantly a problem (especially in the morning). Too bad, Otherwise a very well designed game. Servers are not being maintained. Sad.

Ok...played for 9 hours. This game is almost all cons:

* Small levels, like TINY levels.
* Pathetic environment interaction. Want to climb over those small rocks? Nope! Want to climb the ladder right in your face? Nope! Want basically do anything other than follow the rails? Nope!
* The worst part is the constant crashing. I have a MONSTER machine (AMD ThreadRipper 3960, PCIE4 Drives / 128 GB of 3200 RAM, 3 TB NVME drives and a nice RTX 3070...liquid / air cooled all the way. This game tells me I've run out of video memory(!) after just a bit of game play. Even with settings turned down, this game simply does not handle memory correctly. For comparison: I played Cyberpunk 2077 on max settings with (believe it or not) ZERO crashes.
* Multi-player lacks basic CHAT functions. They tell me “Go use discord” What If I don’t want to fangle with this crap?! Look to TitanFall2 for how to do VoiceChat very well.
* Monotonous enemies, all the same. Gets boring quick.
* Story doesn’t really do anything for me.although a couple of the min-boss cutscenes had clever dialog…the rest was janky, in some cases poorly animated, and just missing polish.

Pros:

• I Really liked the idea of a TechnoMancer. Firing burning bullets, sucking life from enemies, and the excellent death animations really were a cool idea. Too bad everything else got the stink of last-gen console code on it.

Verdict:
Do not buy this game. It’s a buggy, unfinished, and uninspired looter-shooter cash grab.
