OK I've played it a bit, I like it but it is unrefined,

If you like V:tm you'll dig it... currently playing a Ventrue (Wanted a Malk but I understand why now) it's a nice staple to start from. I can see why its mixed reviews because of its price, hit it up on a sale if it is too rich for your blood.

As for combat let me explain in a way you can understand.

I just did a fight where I started it by commanding one enemy to fight another, he killed the enemy but the rest of his friends finished him off (that's 2 down with one power), I then pulled a gun to me, unloaded it on a 3rd before throwing the empty gun at him. One climbed to get to me, I used my vampire strength to Punch him off the edge. That left a big thug with a large melee hammer and a guy with a gun. The big guy I commanded him to harm himself forcing him to drop his sledgehammer, I hit him till he was weak to finish with a bite. That gave me the last Vitae I needed to get the final guy with the gun to forget, he left combat so I leapt down on him as a finisher.

Combat done, I was able to talk to the contact they had cornered.

So yes, the combat is melee with tricks.... but you are a fool to think you can't plan it out or do different things based on your bloodline

Story 9 of 10: it's teaching you the V:tm vampire lore at a nice pace that is easy to digest for someone who has never played. It was janky saying the city is shut down and there's no world travel. Kind or weird to lay it out why you are trapped in the city.
Gameplays 7 of 10 : Could be refined more.
Graphics 7 of 10: It is shiny but unrefined. Footprints in snow like RDR2 and other earlier games could have been in for example. Faces are nice tho. Some animations are odd but passable.
Sound 9 of 10: I'm diggin' the music and voice acting.

Don't have enough to know if its a Great overall RPG. But choices you make in talking are important as is how you roleplay yourself as an awakened powerful Vampire.

I'd Recommend it for a fan of V:tm . I'd wait for a sale if you are only having a passing intrest.

You either like this game and play it for 1000+hours

a must play game for any RPG fan. Like the previous 2 titles this game gives the DnD experience on a PC. Played with a group orsolo.

You'll sink many hours in.

Some minor flaws the company seems very willing to patch up (mostly QoL things). One of the Rare gems that I was happy to support in pre-release. if it is on a sale or within you budget, pick it up!

Still in BETA

Solid groundwork and constant patches and communication from the makers. The BETA already shows the strength of the engine in its large scale (1000 vs 1000) open field warfare.

A Free to Play multiplayer version of a solid and long lived Mechwarrior franchise. Mechs are constantly balanced and tweeked. Those who are better at "piloting" and "configuring" their mechs do tur nthe tide of many of the battles. Working together has a huge impact on the outcome of games as you recreate the clan invasions with your chosen faction.

Not much to the story in this one besides the overall premice to get planetside and blow each other up in mechs!

If you always dreamed that Ezio and Batman had a love child that grew up in the land of Mordor and trained extensivly to kill Orcs and take their homes away from them but those orcs could come back with their own reasons for wanting you dead.

Then this is the game for you.

Pre-ordered this one on the reputation of it's earlier series that I had a ton of fun with... Was accepting of the bugs during the beta.

But this game is now live. During the tutorials I had it crash twice on my high end system running at normal levels.

Went to sandbox mode, more bugs in the camera as I could not unlock my view from a peep that had left the park. After I figured out a work around 10 mins later the game crashed as I was waiting for a special peep to get to the park so I was doing nothing special. Time in this game reflects the time I spent playing the beta with a few mins of crashing after the game went live.

Do not purchase this game... Even if they publish bugfixes I would no longer trust the makers.

I would not recommend this game that I had high hopes for. look for Planet Coaster as an option.

Time tested, many awards, lives up to all the hype... has DLC that is worthy of being called DLC. Get this game... Play this game... If you don't enjoy it then we need to get you to a doctor.

No need to wait for a sale on this one. The makers did a good job and it is well worth full asking price for your entertainment hours.

Similar to skyrim with openworld feel mixed with fantasy settings.

Only downside for this game is I would say to keep children away from it, the violence is graphic, the enemies sometimes horrific and there is nudity and sexual content but it is all well within the witcher universe. The game tells a great story you can get lost in.

Plus you get GWENT!

This game is fun, The BETA is F2P... Go ahead and try it as it can run on low end systems.

Players who enjoyed games such as Team Fortress2 should have no problem jumping into this game. An Overwatch style of gameplay but does not take things too seriously.

The characters could be fleshed out more as sometimes you feel like you are playing "the Flanker" or "The Support" instead of playing as Skye or Ying

Still in Beta at the time of this review so this review is subject to change, I like where the devs are headed with this and I plan to play it for many long hours.

Long time supporter of this game. While the original plans to be an open world game did not pan out it's still a very worthy game in its own right with a solid community from the launch.

Pick from the 4 popular factions or play PvE for some action that puts you into the grim future that is Warhammer40k. Get hooked in with a Guild for your favored faction for some deep tactical gameplay, or play casually and jump into whatever squads happen to be playing the game you are in.

Map/Instance wins and losses have an impact on your factions hold on the world.

If you like the universe this game is set in, you will not be upset at this game.
