I didn't manage to get my friends playing actual DND for long, but you know what? I enjoyed my time with this game and I keep coming back to show new friends the game.

Played the game a while back around the week it came out after waiting years for it. I would say the game falls much more in line with a Final Fantasy esque flow to it, by that I mean you play it once and maybe you take on optional challenges here and there and then you know the solution to all the puzzles and have ran out of new things to experience from the game and put it down.

Its not gonna be an x-com where you sink hundreds of hours over a few playthroughs. Your enjoyment of the story may vary. I enjoyed it, but I bet you I would have enjoyed it much less if I didn't enjoy the main puzzle game aspect of it.

To know if this game is for you I recommend asking your self: would you enjoy a game where you play chess puzzles over a background of a story. A story that does not have complex political intrigue and drama, it isn't a Life is Strange or Detroit Become Human, the story was crafted very well to give a believable excuse to do the missions you are doing and crafted to facilitate the fun of those who are already enjoying the gameplay. I think the story is perfect for what its trying to achieve as part of the game, but by no means is it the main selling point or award winning in any way.

How is it not a legal requirement to disclose a 3rd party account requirement to play online? Absolute atrocity.

Its still a crap show, knowing some of my friends might never be able to get the game due to Sony sucks. I just don't enjoy playing this game anymore.
