Being a fan Of the doom franchise since the 90's i knew i was gonna play and enjoy this one.

TDA is a great game. Its not Doom 2016 and its not Doom: Eternal. TDA is like a heavy freight train on a collision course with a bullet train.

1. It's got great replay ability value.
2. Thira is hot.
3. Story is ok....ishh.
4. Cut scenes are directed like its ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ pacific rim. I love it.
5. I'm not a fan of the parry mechanic but in doom i got it and now its not that hard.
6. The dragon gameplay is boring.
7. The Atlan fights are small fun mini games for me.
8. The guns feel great.
9. I don't miss the glory kills as much as i thought i would but the executions need more variety.
10. The melee system is great. I never used the final melee weapon the dread mace on my first playthrough on nightmare. Power gauntlet and flail were more than enough but I'm sure it has its use's.

Im gonna try bumping up the game speed and reduce parry windows and play with low resource. I'm sure its gonna whop my ass but it will be fun as hell.

Do not be fooled by the cute art style. The pandas are your immortal workforce. They don't complaint, no union talks, no bonuses Just hard labour. Work them hard 24/7 all year round and get rich. Love it.

Playing this game from start to finish once every year has become sort of a ritual for me.
it's just that good.
