surprised i didnt review this sooner, good game, funny narration, relaxing!

When I buy something, I expect it to work properly.
I understand how old this game actually is but still before you release it, its okay for me to expect a game to actually boot up and work.

Long loading times, no way to change resolution. I have tried other ''solutions'' and does not work.
EA, get your act together, this is pure laziness on your part. I should've expected it.
The sims 2 Legacy collection works ok so why does run like utter garbage. I want solutions not excuses.
Update and make it work then ill think about changing my review.

To be honest, a bit of a grind. Ill give this game another shot later, for me its too difficult and tedious, the other countries spam men recruitment and its pretty hard to expand, I get the feeling the dev expects the player to grind and slowly build your army.

a bit rough round the edges, some glitches of course for being an EA type of game but honestly i see this being a big hit on steam on full release. Im intrigued. Ill update this review when i know more about the mechanics but i think each clip you make is unique and generated based on some values and category etc, but thats just my impression im getting, if so that should be listed as an actual feature. it would draw more people to the game, it would definitely wouldve made me buy this game quicker and not just be on the fence for a while just something to consider (to the dev)

as of right now, i recommend, definitely had some fun, surprisingly not too complicated, what i mean by that is that the tutorial was very helpful , if i didnt have the tutorial i would've been so confused beyond frustration i think but honestly kudos, good job with the tutorial, it just needs more content, polish it a bit more. some variety. I notice theres this custom script editor in folk screenshots. im either dumb or i havent reached that part yet in the campaign? just some things like that im not really clear on.

I know how to make a movie in this game, so what i mean, an actual editor to change what the script to my liking, i assume its either in creative mode or I havent unlocked it yet. so to the devs, some things need ironing out and making clear for some of our players.

Conclusion:- Despite it being complicated in some area, its also strangely addictive and simple at the same ti me, for an EA game. Impressed. Check it out, especially if and when it goes on sale

UPDATE:- Yes AI is used, each movie type (from small to blockbuster type of movies) youll have clips you can watch once its all done, I have come across some glitches, like the same dialogue over and over in different movies but this doesnt happen too much

the 2.0 update has really made things a lot better, more balanced, ironed out some annoying glitches and it has been optimized A LOT which im quite surprised. before i was barely getting 24fps , now im going around 60fps. kuds to the devs for fixing memory likes and such
